The resort was nice. A littler older but the aesthetic was pleasing, and clean. Two things to note is that it’s by a crocodile swamp thing, which was fine but they lady freaked at us when we went into the ocean at night because I guess that’s when the crocs come out haha. So no ocean swimming at night. And the pool and hot tub closed at 9 which sucked. It’s also a local hub for locals to come to after work and karaoke loud but it stopped at 10:00 pm so not too bad. Food was something to be desired but edible. The resort did have the best sand on the beach compared to anything south of us. Anything south of the resort had a lot of rocks and wasn’t as smooth. I would say a 3 star resort. And not many of the staff spoke English. Which caused some problems when booking excursions.

Not outstanding, but good!

Some suggestions..1. Get better tv with some American channels, 2. Evening entertainment too loud... too late 3. Internet needs improvement. Overall a very good stay. Staff was great... room very adequate... food, though repetitive, was good. We'd stay again.

I have a massive Wi-Fi sensitivity, I arrived to see a giant cell tower on the roof. This of course had not been shown or mentioned anywhere in the advertising. The staff were phenomenal as we ran around checking out the rooms that were far far away from the tower. They were gracious and patienct, this kind of thing can be a disaster for people like me. It's a deal breaker, however it was only a one-night stay so we did the best we could as did the staff at Las Palmas who didn't miss an opportunity in making me feel welcome

We give this property 1 star but will share the positive and negative. First the positive: the views are stunning because it's right on the beach. Some of the staff that work the restaurant and bars are helpful and pleasant to talk to. The location of the resort is great and close to many great destinations. Now the negative: everything you read in other negative reviews is TRUE! The front desk is horrible. They're not pleasant and most of them (so we don't say all) are rude. The hotel manager (forgot the name of the lady) is very rude and talked to us like we're staying there for free, and not like we payed thousands to stay 10 freaken nights! And the last day, when the bracelets are cut after 11am, they treat you like garbage that needs to be out of their way. If you need to pay for a drink at the bar, it's a process that involves many people talking on the reado, and an actual physical receipt for 5 dollars! Meanwhile we saw people not affiliated with the resort hust walk up and pay for drinks in cash, so go figure! Throughout the stay, they followed everyone around enforcing stupid rules. This resort is about numbers and making money for the owner, they get alot of people because they're cheaper than nearby hotels and have zero effs to give about your experience. There's only one restaurant for all meals and there's always a line like you're lining up to get a government supply for free, not like you payed thousands for all inclusive. This is a great property, beautifully located by the sea. Wonderful friendly attentive staff. For an all inclusive resort, the food could certainly be better but it is still a nice convenience to have all these buffets (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) We even had a surprise visit by some humpback whales at the beach resort !! The hotel is great in organizing daily fun activities and quality evening shows (like circus night, latin dance shows and many others). The only letdown was on our last day, and upon checkout, the treatment that we received (after having stayed at the property for a week). We had some delayed returned flights and the hotel management was rather unfriendly and uncooperative in having us enjoy the resort that last day while waiting for our flights. Otherwise a marvellous stay and memories that we will always treasure! Thank you Las Palmas by The Sea! Muchas gracias Puerto Vallarta!!
