Family Thanksgiving Trip 2024
We booked this home for 3 nights for Thanksgiving and had an absolutely amazing time. It was quiet and we loved lounging on the large deck and watching the kids run around in the large backyard. My parents had been wanting all their kids and grandkids to get together and there was plenty of space with 5 bedrooms and a kids loft. The large table and small round table also were amazing for sitting everyone together to eat at the same time. Not to mention all the toys in the home and the kids loved exploring the loft and finding all of them. The orange scooter and blue donkey were by far the kids favorites. We would definitely book again 5+ stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Relaxing getaway
The location of this property is very relaxing. We were able to swim and paddle board without a lot of disruption from boaters. The house had everything we needed for a large group. The homeowners were responsive as well. Great place to relax and take in nature.

Great time!!
Place was amazing!!!! Loved the lawn and the accessibility of the dock and lake! We took 2 boats with us and had plenty of parking space for them and other vehicles! The house was great and spacious! The only things we encountered was we couldn’t get the tvs to work for some reason and the Wi-Fi. But we didn’t care cause that’s not what we went for. Other thing was the upstairs had a hard time staying cool during the day…got as hot as 90 up there but luckily cooled back down in time for bed! Other than that we definitely enjoyed our stay and want to thank the host for great experience.

Beautiful view
The lot was beautiful, The house is nice, lots of beds, but seating in the living area is limited, for leisure visiting. Plenty of room for dining large groups. The front porch is beautiful but it was hard to use with so many folding chairs tables heaters, corn hole clutter, never saw the adirondak chairs. Recommend if you want to grill, to bring one. They have a gas grill, and charcoal grill, but grates are a bit past it. In total we had a great time, house is beautiful Dock was great, lots of large mouth bass jumping, we caught 1 white bass, 2 black bass, and one crappie. If your a bird watcher, beautiful water fowl and songs birds to occupy your time. Water is clear, you can see the bottom. We wore water shoes,because we weren't sure if there could be spmething sharp, but water was clean and refreshing. Recommend for any gathering. We all had a great time

PERFECT for our Retreat Weekend!
This is our second time to stay in this home for our girls retreat weekend. From the booking process to the house itself, everything was perfect. The house and property were beautiful and the amenities were great!

It’s a Wonderful Life!
I had stayed here the first week of November with some gal pals and absolutely fell in love with it. So, I rented it for the Christmas holidays so all my family could be under one roof again and we could all be together for a few days like we used to when my parents were alive. My entire family had the best time, loved the location, loved the layout, loved that everyone had a bed and the crowning touch was that this incredible sweet owner put up the most beautifully decorated Christmas tree and gorgeous wreath on the front door!! Now if that’s not southern hospitality, I don’t know what is!! Everyone was talking about wanting to come back this summer and stay there!! Truly, the most lovely, kind and compassionate lady to work with!! If I could rate this this a 10 star experience, I would but they only allow 5 stars!!

Good spot for a large gathering.
Very good lakefront property for our family gathering. We had 8 adults, a teenager and 3 kids (5-9). There was plenty of room to all sit down to eat and play games together. It was comfortable and the 2 bathrooms where not a problem for our group size. Would have loved warmer weather to enjoy the large back deck.

Perfect Girl’s weekend house
6 women-all over 70-spent the weekend celebrating friendship. Excellent layout for each to have their own room. Comfortable living area with plenty of room for 6 women in the kitchen. Beautiful location and so relaxing. Planning to return next year.

Such a great place! Everyone had comfortable beds and beautiful weather. We had places to play games either inside or outside. We had ages 2 through 74 years. I must say the back deck overlooking the lake was my favorite place to spend time. Loved our stay! Don and Judy

Perfect Labor Day Setting
Great property with lakefront views. Wonderful yard right up to a shallow entry into the lake by the dock. Our kids swam, kayaked, and fished right in front of the property. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were plenty comfortable. Kiddos loved the upstairs bunk room. Grandparents loved the back porch watching the kiddos play. Overall a fantastic family getaway on the lake! We hope to return!!

Great place for the family
We all enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It was very comfortable and plenty of room for all of us. We came out for a wedding and the location was perfect. It was so nice being right on the lake, we all fished one day. And then a few of us even sat on the deck a couple mornings to watch the sun come up, it was beautiful!

We’ll Be Back!
What a gem! It’s clean, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, lake front, perfect for beautiful sunrises, sunsets, gathering, and walks. Kristan was quick to respond, and the beds managed to lull each of us five women into a peace-filled sleep every night. So glad we chose this listing for our writer’s retreat. We hope to return next year.

Family time
The place looks exactly as the pictures posted beautiful place. It's very quite and the house has everything you need for your stay. The fishing dock is great. Only thing is we didn't catch that many fish. Tried all types of bait and most caught on worms with a small hook. We definitely want to stay again.

AMAZING lake fun house!
The was an AMAZING place to stay! Everyone has their own room, no need to sleep on couches! The lake was incredible. There were floaties, squirt toys, kites, porch games, and enough towels for lake and showers in one day. All our food had a place, great serving are, and all 17 of us fit at the table. Kristan was prompt and easy to work with. Our family reunion was a complete success at this house. We would definitely recommend it anyone. Thank you!!

Relax
Everything a large family needs for a great time at the lake. Plenty of beds and table seating. Highchair was helpful. All the basics and many extras. Very quiet and relaxing environment.
