The property is beautiful, the staff friendly, and when my husband and I had to leave at 4am to catch a flight, they had box breakfasts prepared for us. At most hotels, incredibly more expensive hotels, if you have to leave at 4am when the kitchen is closed, you're just SOL. Imagine my surprise when they offered that little treat! I would definitely return and highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about the Rincón de Puembo! We stayed here at the very end of our Ecuador trip. I picked this place to stay because it seemed very relaxing and the rest of our trip had been very busy. My expectations were certainly exceeded! The place itself is beautiful and tranquil, lots of plants and water features that make it very spa-like. The room is comfortable and clean, with pristine bed linens. The staff are what really make it truly wonderful - they are helpful and kind and accommodated our every need. Our flight home ended up being later than expected and they made it so seamless to stay past our original booking. They gave us a wake up call at 130am and an airport shuttle with an adorable boxed breakfast to go! 10/10, we would love to visit again!

Had free airport transfer which was nice after a long flight. The driver was waiting for us holding a sign with our name on it. He waited for us even though our plane was a little late landing. The grounds around the hotel were beautiful. The free breakfast was nice. The only negatives were there’s no food available after 10 pm and there’s no air conditioning but apparently that’s normal in Quito.

The staff was fantastic! Great food at the restaurant, comfy beds, and everything was clean. It is a beautiful property worth taking a stroll around on the grounds of the present hotel and discover some of its history. We would highly recommend it!

Nice property! Well maintained grounds. Nice restaurant, great service, friendly staff. The floating night stand in the first room we were in just came off the wall. It looked like it had been replaced before based on the number of screw holes in the headboard. We were moved to another room without consequence. Thanks to the staff.
