A few Maintainence problems
We paid extra for a upgrade to beach side apartment ,the beach was 200 m away behind the trees with water views only from the 4th floor look out.the lock to the apartment didn't work & the toilet had a leak . Only 2 adult push bikes for hire & one had a flat tyre .

The service at hotel reception was fine and the restaurant had beautiful food & great service, however the actual apartment, while clean and comfy enough, was very aged and dated compared to those pictured on the advertisements. After we returned I looked on the internet again, and the apartment we got (Baden) was not featured anywhere. It was still well priced for what we got, just a bit disappointing when we arrived to something quite less then what we were expecting.

The staff where 1st class. Resort has all the features you need. Free bus to and from sports club. Weather was bad but resort was good.

Nice getaway
The room was clean and had almost everything we needed and more, including closets, a washing machine, a bunch of kitchen appliances and nice furniture and lighting. The one thing missing was a big one for us though: no internet whatsoever, cable nor WiFi. Only go here if you don't mind (or prefer) to be cut off digitally for a while.

Dark, dinghy & dated!!!
We were in the 'old part' of the resort - horrible! Small, dark very dated, the curtains fell off when opened as their wasn't a stopper on the rail, the fans had lost all their paint & noisy. The rest of the resort looks OK, but they don't even sell papers so you have to commute into town. There's a lot of accom in the area with much better access to the beach. All in all, a great disappointment !!!!! Definitely won't be staying there again,

We have been staying at Rainbow Shores for many years and enjoy it whenever we are there. It has a variety of activities for children - pools, table tennis, billiards, tennis, beach and a par 3 golf club. The location is delightful and slightly away from the busy centre of town but within easy walking distance. It is a great family accommodation.

Brilliant family destination
Rainbow Shores at Rainbow Beach was the highlight of our trip to Queensland. The resort was excellent, our two bedroom apartment extremely comfortable and with everthing we needed. Rooms were spotlessly clean and cool , the kitchen well equipped for self catering and the lap pool outside our accommodation was fantastic. The hotel grounds were well kept, great paths for bike riding and we were within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Rainbow Beach was a brilliant destination with lots to do for the whole family, including easy access to Fraser Island, a must do for anyone in the area. Feeding dolphins at nearby Tin Can Bay was also another activity we enjoyed. Overall I would rate Rainbow Shores very highly, particularly for families looking for a relaxed and enjoyable getaway.

Lovely place to stay
The appartment was lovely and it was great value for money. They arranged my day tour to Fraser which I really enjoyed. I could check out any time i wanted which was great. I'll be coming back.

3 bedroom apartment
3 bedroom apartment not really great for families. Second bedroom and loft bedroom not completely enclosed meaning TV noise and lights were an issue when children were put to bed and parents were trying to relax for a few minutes before retiring to bed. The dryer in our appartment didn't work (and it rained for 4 days straight), and management couldn't give us a replacement one/repair broken one until they spoke to the apartment owner to get instruction on how to proceed. Due to amount of rain, the unit had water flowing in from patio window (lucky I didn't have my computer case on the floor that night). Setting is beautiful, location is great, staff are lovely. I hear the 2 bedroom apartments are quite nice, so maybe that's the way to go.

Love Rainbow Shores
Had the most relaxing stay with my girlfriends. This is the 3 time staying here and I will be taking my kids back in couple of months for a break.. Everything about Rainbow Shores is great and the fact that its a short stroll on the beach to town is awesome.

Great resort, Great staff
Rainbow Beach is a great family destination, with so much for them to do and explore. Or just for couples who need some R & R, with a litle night life and great food. People are very friendly and helpful. Great during winter or summer.
