Absolutely gorgeous property! The pictures do not do this location justice.
We stayed in June 2024, and the beach was enormous and we had it completely to ourselves. There are about 15-20 properties on an end of a peninsula(each have large, heavy forrest in-between so you can't see them), but we never saw or heard a single neighbor while we were there. The sandbar the property is on goes out hundreds of yards, making this a great spot for young families.
The canoe was a great bonus! We loved taking this out every morning for a stroll with our kids.
The property is not only dog friendly, but dog accomodating. There were dog bowls, a tie out, and treats. My pups loved their stay as well.
The firepit was spectacular with a great view. Tons of fallen branches around the property to use for firewood.
The cabin itself was so charming and very clean. All we needed to bring was food and toiletries, the cabin had everything else! Also, there is a newer smart TV in the living room. We were still able to get our evening youtube fix while being mostly disconnected! Our kids LOVED the loft (aka their secret lair).
The water wasn't an issue for our family. We are two adults and two young kids (5 & 11) and we each took a short daily shower, did the dishes each day and even a few loads of laundry during our stay. You just need to be conscious of keeping the water off. I do recommend bringing water bottles in addition to the cooler they provide.
This place was perfect!
