You will not be sharing the home with anyone. We are currently setting up the lower level for use as well. You get the house all to yourself! The amazing art-filled lower level welcomes you into this historic beauty.

We have invested many hours into thoughtfully updating this beauty! You will see the stairs to the Second floor just ahead. You will enjoy a Private bedroom, full bathroom, and a sunny east-facing sitting room. The sitting room has a great view of the mesas to the east!

The Space:
This amazing home was built in the late 1800’s. It has seen many uses through the years. It was at one point a steakhouse restaurant. It has been a home and a real estate office. The upper level is all yours! Private, quiet with great views of the surrounding mesas, town, and magical New Mexico skies!

Guest Access:
You will enter through the front of the building through the art filled foyer and head upstairs where you will have your own bedroom, full bathroom and sunny sitting room. The property consists of 3 separate houses (all our air bnb listings) you may meet other travelers on the premises, around the fire pit or wandering around the beautiful grassy yards. The upper level of the Queen Anne Victorian is all yours and you will not be sharing the house with any other guests.

The Neighborhood:
The Second Story is in a R2 zoning district. Commercial/residential. Meaning there are homes as well as businesses nearby. It sits right on the Main Street through town and can be a little noisy during the day from traffic, it usually quiets down around dark. Since it’s on the Main Street, it has easy access to restaurants, parks, hiking trails and the interstate (just .5 mile away) we’re very easy to find!

Getting Around:
There are parks, restaurants, breweries, train station, historic downtown and hiking trails all within walking distance. We have plenty of off street parking (even for oversized vehicles or trailers) The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of industry, restaurants, vintage buildings and service stations, all just a few minutes drive from beautiful countryside and nature just outside of town.
