Shine Chalet has been recently renovated to the highest of standards, offering unique accommodation with lots of charm and high spec detailing. Nestled in the Beautiful Cornish Countryside, quiet and peaceful yet centrally located & within a short distance of the A30 with direct routes to Truro, Redruth, St Ives, Penzance, Hayle, Newquay and Falmouth.

The space

The Chalet has been recently renovated to the highest of standards, offering a unique and very comfortable stay in self-contained accommodation. The design of this space has been inspired by a luxury hotel/studio room. Centrally located in mid Cornwall, close to the A30 but in the quiet Cornish Countryside, within easy reach of Truro, Falmouth, Redruth, Newquay, St Ives, St Austell and Penzance.

Shine Chalet has an abundance of charm and high spec detailing with an open plan living space comprising of a well equipped kitchen, breakfast bar with two bar stools for dining and bedroom area with a separate bathroom and a private outside space.

The kitchen area has a built in fridge, induction hob, electric fan oven, lots of worktop space to cook and a large sink with instant hot water and a filtered drinking water tap. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need. There is a breakfast bar with two Bar Stools.

The Bathroom has a powerful Aqualisa Quartz Electric Shower featuring stunning hexagonal tiles and slate effect double shower tray. WC and wash basin with circular light up mirror and heated towel rail.

The accommodation offers spotlights for each designated area plus two gold dimmable pendant ceiling lights and optional mood lighting. There is a Haverland SmartWave Electric radiator. Two bespoke Accoya Hardwood Hand Crafted frosted double glazed windows and a large glazed Charcoal PVC front door.

The bedroom area offers 1 standard Double Bed with a new high quality eco-comfort breath mattress which is orthopaedic, hypo-allergic and a medium firmness to suit all sleep positions. Two bedside cabinets which have three drawers, sockets either side of the bed with handy USB ports, lamps and reading lights. A wardrobe that has drawers and hanging space. There is also a dressing table/desk/workstation. A Sony 32” smart TV on a full motion wall bracket, for ease of watching.

The outside area features festoon lighting to the front and side of The Chalet. There is a pretty lit small decking area to the side with seating for two. A small patio area to the front that you access via a lit slate chipping pathway that leads to the private entrance and an off-road parking space.

Shine Chalet is situated in a very popular area for walkers, sightseers, cyclists and surfers alike. This accommodation is also perfect for business trips, or for professionals/students on work placements in the area.
It is situated on the Coast to Coast Cycle Path from Portreath to Deveron which is connected to the Mineral Tramways having National Heritage status and offering a wealth of Historic Cornish Countryside to explore. Annual Surf Competitions are held at Portreath, Porthtowan and neighbouring beaches, which are within an easy drive. Stithians Lake situated 5 miles away offers other watersports facilities including windsurfing, paddle boarding, canoeing, jet skiing, etc. Its ideal location, with easy access to the A30, offers direct routes to Truro, St Ives, Penzance, Hayle, Newquay and the popular boating capital of Falmouth. This area offers the best of Cornish attractions and facilities whilst tucked away in this quiet historic Cornish Mining Countryside which was once the richest square mile in Britain.
Bed linen, towels, electric, WIFI and heating included. Regret no pets. Beach 4 miles, shops, launderette and pubs in walking distance (0.4 miles).

A single parking space is provided on a shared drive directly in front of the private access pathway that leads to the Chalet.
The shared area is only shared with myself.
This is located to the back of my property but it’s important to note it is completely private.
During your stay at this chalet, you'll be within walking distance of Gwennap Pit.

I’ve little property. Quality, well appointed fitted shower room. Ample space for 2 people and set back from an already quiet road so not to be disturbed by noise from it. Communication with the owner, Abi, was excellent, easy, friendly and prompt. Shame didn’t get to meet her as I was out more than in during my stay. Recommend this location.
