While it was disclosed that there is no front desk, the property owner committed to send entry code and instructions for self check in prior to arrival. Despite email requests and Expedia intervention, that never happened and we had to find our way in with another couple who had the code. Not communicating at all is unacceptable as it leaves travelers stranded and unable to get into their room.
Once we got into our room, there were some issues. The baseboard was separated from the wall with a nail sticking out. Next, the doorknob came off when entering the side room. The blinders are bent and wouldn’t go up and down. The pipes in the shower came apart once turned on and required you to reattach pipes while showering and naked. Finally, the beds were so soft that we both sunk into a cavern of foam in the middle of the bed by morning.
While we knew this wasn’t the Four Seasons going in, there were just too many things wrong with the checkin process and overall condition of the property to rate it any higher.
