A very cute, cozy, and secluded getaway cottage, which is co-located with a private lake. This is an old farming property, complete with a greenhouse! The grounds are a park-like setting on 3 acres of land. Easy 30 minutes to Savannah and 45 minutes to Hilton Head Island. Close to the airport and Port of Savannah. Sleeps a total of 4 with an option for a child's bed or pack-n-play!

Exactly as Advertised
This was a perfect place for my wife and I to stay briefly near Savannah on a long driving trip. It was just what we needed. Communication was thorough and timely.

This place should not be included in VRBO. Should not be rented to anyone.
Cabin was filthy dirty, we wouldn’t use dishes (without washing first), toaster, coffee maker, or upholstered furniture. Even the refrigerator was dirty. The sink drains had old food in them. We wouldn’t use the shower and slept in our clothes on top of the bed.The only lock on the door was a chain. We could hear the traffic from the main road nearby all night.We only stayed one night and left at 6:35am.Trees were still down in yard from hurricane 3 months ago.We would’ve left the first night if there was another place to stay.A very traumatic experience.Perhaps VRBO should inspect places before allowing them to be rented out.We were told after our complaint calls that we will not be charged for our stay.Too bad we can’t get refund on gas used for our trip.

Needs attention
The house was clean but outside due to the hurricane there were fallen trees and branches. Our small dog had a hard time..Inside the toilet wouldn't flush properly. The freezer door was falling off. Our son tried to sleep on the sofa sleeper but the mattress was so thin the bars hurt his back.I hope the owner does some upgrades because the area itself is really good

Comfortable and quiet
We were in the area to vend at an event for the weekend in Savannah. It was an easy drive into Savannah from the cottage. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It was so nice to have a comfortable, quiet place to come back each day. Would definitely recommend!

Overnight/Short Stay
We chose this location since we were in town for local school board business. We had to juggle nights a bit and the host was very accommodating & helpful. We brought our small dogs who enjoyed their stay as well. Parking was close and it was a nice country atmosphere.

Our stay was good, BUT… It appears to us that the guest before us had a dog. There was dog hair pretty much everywhere, not to mention the worst part: when we entered the house there was a terrible smell of dog urine. We bought a spray and it got better, but it still was nauseous

Rincon visit
Emailed owner for check in info twice but received no response until VRBO contacted him. Received key code an hour before check in. Loved the location. House is older & could use some updating. Will have to agree with other renters that air conditioner in living room is very noisy. But it did do a good job cooling the house down. Recliner looks new and was very comfortable. The couch was saggy & very uncomfortable for sitting. And the couch covers smelled like dogs.

Nice stay
We enjoyed our stay. It was not too far from Savannah while having plenty of space for our dogs to get some exercise. It has a full kitchen and full size fridge so it worked out well for cooking a few meals. The window A/C units kept up barely but I would not have wanted it to be much hotter. I would stay here again.

Great getaway spot!!!
My family and I came down for a competition in savannah and it was just a 27 minute drive to downtown Savannah. Great quiet property with a lake full of turtles. The host larry was very kind and welcomed us right away. Cant wait until our stay next year!
