Camp Bay is the longest natural beach on Roatan and The Camp Bay Beach House is just steps away from the amazing natural beauty of the Mezo-American Reef. Listen to crashing waves and soak in the azul Caribbean sea without the typical beach crowds and noise. At night, you'll find the dark sky equally amazing. The house is perfect for outdoor living with Master and Living room bifold doors that open all the way and a breezeway dining area. Most rooms have light curtains because the house is already private with no other houses around it. You may enounter geckos, insects or almond tree loving bats . This is a vacation location your friends and family will never forget.

Most relaxing time
You will not regret renting this place. The views are spectacular, you can hear the waves from one of the bedrooms. My family stayed for 9 days, we enjoyed our morning walks by the beach, loved having our morning coffee watching the hummingbirds. We loved Ashanti's food. Highly recommend hiring someone to cook your meals. Not many restaurants around. If you are looking for most relaxing and remote place! This is it!

Arrived late afternoon. Desiree, the manager, greeted us and showed us around. Once we were comfortable, she left. We chatted and looked around again. While this is the place in the pics, the property is in need of a serious cleaning and basic maintenance. We were truly disappointed. Fix the pool, clean the furniture, ensure doors lock, fix the seals around the doors so bugs can’t get in. And spruce up the walls with a gallon of paint. Also, only one bedroom had ocean view. Two bedrooms smelled musty and moldy. It’s too bad because location was sweet. But we ended up leaving and headed to another location. I wish them well. This place could be a great stay. Full disclosure, we have used VRBO for stays in a few islands in the Caribbean . This was the first to disappoint.

This property was really beautiful. The rooms worked perfectly for the five of us. We had issues with the hot water heater, but they worked to try and resolve it while we were there. The problems with the hot water heater lead to a strong sulfur smell in the water which was unpleasant, but is something that can be fixed. The management team was really helpful with anything we needed; we were just bummed about the hot water.

Peaceful, Private and Beautiful
For the past 10 years, my husband and I have travel lenses annually with two other couples. We’ve tried a variety of locations: Mexico, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos, Kauai. We’ve decided Roatan is our place. This property is perfectly designed and beautifully decorated. This is truly a 5+ star house. The master suite is incredible. We appreciated the ice machine and water that was provided. If one wanted, groceries could be purchased and you’d never have to leave during your stay. The owners and property managers quickly answered any questions we had. Wild horses actually showed up in the back yard to eat grass and enjoy some shade. That was quite cool. The view of the ocean, the sound of the waves, combined with no neighbors made for great relaxation and no worries about being too noisy when we wanted to listen to music or play games on the covered deck. Definitely heed the advice about the noseeums. They are sneaky little suckers. We highly recommend a visit to Cliffsides. It’s a short drive from the property. The food was fantastic and the hosts were amazing. La Serena had great drinks and tame hummingbirds. We set a feeder on the edge our table and sat in awe as they came to drink. If you enjoy a quiet location, luxurious accommodations and a beach all to yourself, this is your place.

The house was incredibly beautiful!! It’s decorated so nice. Every room is so beautiful in the house. Amazing pool, great lounge chairs. I can’t say enough about how much we loved it. I miss the house already. We would stay there again 100 percent!!

Great Get Away
We stayed at this beautiful house from Dec. 30 to Jan 6th. The house was better than the description. The layout for our family (19 and 22-year-old boys) was spectacular. Each child had their room/bathroom. Everything was in working condition. The decor was beautiful. The house is literally on the edge of the ocean. Sleeping in the master bedroom and listening to the waves crashing was heavenly. No need for a noise maker at this house. With all the rain and humidity, we never sat in the porch area. It was beautiful and when dry it would be perfect. The house has two kayaks for renters to use as well as snorkeling gear (we brought our own). My husband and son played a lot of bags so thank you for having that available! Tamara and Desiree were fantastic in responding to the many questions that I had before our travels. They suggested restaurants, excursions, and information on car rentals. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us the week we were there. Lots of rain to start the week and very strong winds. We dove with Dive Pangea (8 minute walk from the house), did a snorkeling day with RoaTide and did the swim and snorkel with the dolphins at Anthony's Key. There are many great casual restaurants on the east end. Cliffside was delicious and the owners were fantastic! Tamara, thank you for sharing your beautiful slice of heaven with us. We had a fabulous week and would love to return soon.

Stunning location!
Beautiful home with a stunning location. Be prepared to be more remote, but our family loved it. The gravel road at the end is real! make sure the car you rent will handle it. Management company greeted us on arrival and were very communicative. Desiree, Gail, Orlando were super helpful. Juana made some fabulous meals for us and Marilou at Camp Bay Lodge was a fantastic masseuse. Pangea diving was super close and the diving was fantastic. The beach by the house was beautiful and hardly anyone on it. Snorkeling and swimming were great right by the house. It is a drive to French Cay or West End, but we just made day trips out of it. We plan to come back.

Birthday Getaway with Family
Our family stayed at the beach house Jan/Feb 2023. We had 5 adults and two children (Ages 10 and 13). This house had an awesome layout- the kitchen and living space were disconnected from the bedrooms, which worked out well for people going to bed at different times. The pool was amazing and the beach access was great! This part of the island is a bit more remote and quiet, which we preferred over the other areas. There are a few restaurants close by! You will need a rental car to get around and explore!

Great spot to enjoy time with family
Extremely private spot with everything you need! When power went out the generator kicked right in. We never turned on the TVs but instead played cornhole, enjoyed the beach and snorkeling! Bring bug spray for sand flees.

Incredible Property
We had an incredible time at this beautiful beach front property. The location is very private and is located approximately one hour from the airport. The roads are winding and traffic moves slow, but it's part of the adventure! We rented a truck from the airport and then went directly to the local grocery store to stock up on food items. We then met Desiree and followed her to the property. She gave us a tour of the house and reviewed all of the necessary information with us for our stay. We snorkeled off the beach, kayaked out to the reef, and walked down to Camp Bay Inn. We loved the pool, the beautiful covered patio, and fully stocked kitchen. We wish we could have stayed longer, as our trip was too short. So much more to see and do! There is a dive shop within 2 minutes of this property called Dive Pangea Roatan. Brian is one of the owners and was very helpful and friendly. Desiree was courteous, friendly, and quick to respond to our questions before and during our trip. This is a beautiful property that we would definitely book again!

I’m going to start by saying that the beach house is prettier and closer to the beach than it looks on the pictures. I had a wonderful vacations with my brothers, Mother and my nephews, the Villa was perfect and Mrs. Gail was very but super very nice with us, I have no words to thank her for her hospitality. The Villa is about one hour from the airport on which 35 minutes is pavement and about 25 minutes dirt road, I know is little bit uncomfortable but I believe is worthy because it’s unbelievable beautiful, so definitely I will rate this place and Mrs. Gail 5 Gold stars 😁.
