With the Pacific Ocean waiting just across the dunes and the heart of downtown Rockaway Beach within a few blocks' stroll, this oceanfront home is the easy, comfortable Oregon Coast getaway you've been hoping for.

This home occupies one half of a duplex, with a long ocean view deck running the length of the house that's divided between the two sides. Inside, you'll find an open living space with large picture windows, several comfortable sofas, and a streaming-equipped TV. You can follow the sandy path home from the beach each afternoon, toss the day's towels in the washer/dryer, and log onto the free WiFi to catch up on a bit of photo-sharing. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare homemade breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, including full-size appliances, a breakfast bar, and a bistro table for four by the window.

The free WiFi will support streaming, but please note that it is not high-speed.
The fireplace is not for guest use.
We do not encourage swimming here, due to the cold temperatures of our waters and dangerous rip tides.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Incredible Beach House
The house was extremely comfortable and so close to the beach that it made getting out incredibly easy. Worth noting that there's stores for whatever you'd need within about 3 blocks walking distance. Checking in and out was easy and we had everything we needed/wanted while we were there.

Cute Rockaway Beach Cottage
Great location at the edge of the beach dunes with the ocean a short walk away. Very clean and well appointed. It’s a short walk to downtown. We were there for the kite festival weekend and the kites were beautiful! It has everything needed for lounging, cooking and sleeping. Garibaldi is close for fishing and has good fish markets. Tillamook is not far and there are lots of fun things to do there. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Good place & great location at Rockaway Beach
The interior of the duplex was super clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent. Right near the dunes and just a very short walk to a great beach! The deck on the front of the place was spacious. The only downside is that the front yard was not an eye pleaser. It needs some maintenance. But we would return. It was an enjoyable 3 days!

I loved staying here with my mother. Was very quiet and very close to the beach with its own path to the beach. Parking was awesome and safe with near by food, coffee and grocery. Had a full kitchen was easy for cooking full meals. Heaters work great also! Heater in ever corner.

Disappointed but had a nice stay
When we arrived, my emails would not load, I called the Vacasa hotline to be on hold for more than an hour, we had been on the road for 9 hours already. I emailed over the App, did not get a response until 4 AM , glad that I drove to a store and used their Wi-Fi to Download the info to get in.the key lock took a good 10 minutes to figure out how to open . This is an old house, chopped in two! Disappointed that you share outdoor space with another renter. First night there, I step outside to sit on the porch, the other renter is out there smoking. No where did I get the idea that you were sharing space(Sun deck) We had a nice stay anyway. But stayed inside when we were there. My Hubby is Disabled, and was looking forward to sitting in the sun on the deck when we were at the Beach. He never once went outside feeling strange that the other people would be staring at him. There were only three knives to eat with, and two large forks. They need to update the silverware. No coffee maker, only some Kuereg coffee pod system, which I do not drink. Ended up boiling coffee grounds in a pot, and using a soup kettle to pour it in my cup. Beds were comfy except the plastic packaging is still on the mattress, no mattress pads, so every time you moved the plastic crunched underneath you. The bathroom was updated and nice. The Beach is right there, easy walk. Sea air, the sound of waves all night was refreshing. I would not recommend this place unless you rented both halves.

Super cute duplex
We loved this place. It's a duplex, but there's an outside hallway that separates them, so no shared walls. It was very clean, has most everything you need. The only thing I didn't find was a hair dryer, but not a huge deal. The coffee maker is a Keurig, so bring your k cups. It's a very short walk to the beach, beautiful sunsets, we were very comfy on the couches/ chair watching Netflix! We will most definitely book this place again. It's exactly as portrayed in the listing. Loved it!!!

Great central location on the coast
The property is a split unit, but there is an outdoor hallway between the two sides so we never even heard the other guests. There is a nice parking area with a walk way right down to the beach. Great kitchen for cooking and large bathroom with double sinks. We really enjoyed our stay! Right now they just had a keurig (no coffee pot) so plan ahead if you need a morning fix. Rockaway beach is a great central location - we spent days going north through Manzanita and to Astoria and south past Tillamook. Great hiking area! (might want to get groceries in another town though before getting to Rockaway)

Perfect for walks and Pilot Rock sunsets
This is a hurry up and don’t miss the sunset sort of property. I’d post pictures if I could. Located at the southern end of Rockaway, from the back yard you are within a minutes walk to the beach, and can explore everything from here. 15 minutes North of Tillamook. Very clean, modern, comfortable along with a well appointed kitchen including a Keurig coffee pot and some rain boots in the bedroom closet. Quiet community with a market, liquor store and great restaurants nearby, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet get-a-way. Take your camp chair and don’t miss the sunset.

Solid Rockaway Beach Lodging Option
The property was very clean. It's spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was nicely stocked in terms of cookware, dishes, etc. (they even have 4 sets of kid's dishes - plates, bowls, utensils, etc., which I've never seen elsewhere, so a nice touch for those with small kids). You can see the ocean past the dunes if you're standing up, and from the deck, though it's just a sliver. But the dune view on its own is nice, too. Heating throughout is small wall units, so be mindful of safety. Took a bit to get it all adjusted to our liking, but very comfy once we did. Bed and couches were a bit squishy for my liking, but not a big deal for a few days. Big wiiiide beach out there. You can walk 2 blocks north to the grocery store from this house which is nice. Rockaway isn't my first choice of towns on the coast, but this is a great place to stay if you are headed to Rockaway Beach. And I really appreciated that it allows dogs. I would recommend adding 2-3 dog blankets and towels, some poo bags, plus perhaps a couple of dog bowls in a little doggy basket. That's my only recommendation!

Missing Soul
The location was spectacular. Everything else was bare bones minimum. No thought or feeling. We had higher quality toilet paper at the outhouse at the nearby National Park. There were no bedside lamps, only a very bright overhead light with switch by the door. To be able to turn light off, I had to stumble around in the dark. If anyone has ever actually lived in the house, they would have immediately added a lamp by the bed. This is just one example of many. Additionally, 10 am is absurdly early for check out. I called customer service, informing the woman that I was on a break from my cancer treatment for my birthday and that I am having trouble sleeping. They did not care. It was very sterile/minimal and left us feeling kind of used. I much prefer to stay in places which are actually homes. This felt like an investment property being brokered by a corporation seeking only profit.

Spent days enjoying the beach , this house is so close and convenient to beach . I have compromised ankle and love that I can do and go anywhere In Rockaway from this location. We had great evenings with warm fires- was quite windy but beautiful fires and times spent with friends!!

The location of the property is amazing and the property itself was very clean and very comfortable. We were very pleased with the location. Here is the unfortunate part-my husband and I work long hours and needed a break. Our only goals for this vacation were to sit on the beach and then binge watch Netflix. That's it. We turned down other rentals for not having TV. We arrived at the property and no TV connection. I call/text/email the property manager. They didn't get back to us until the next day after 11 am. Is this how long it takes to answer concerns? A handy man came out later and discovered the device was actually broken and he fixed it. We did not have a service we paid for until the second day plus the inconvenience of waiting while it was fixed. No one apologized or offered compensation. Financially this was a big splurge for us. I want that Netflix. On another note, please bring EVERYTHING with you to this property. None of the additional amenities are included such as a blow dryer, spices in the kitchen, foil/plastic bags, or laundry soap. There was a half eaten box of Saltines and half a bottle of pancake syrup but we declined. However, they do include liquid dish soap so you can wash their dishes. Overall it was nice. For paying that much of my hard earned money, I expected a little bit more especially regarding the cable service.
