Unbeatable location. Easy access to everything. Bus stop across the street with service everywhere. Good daily breakfast in lovely rooftop. Clean and quiet room. Rooms are small as typical for Europe. AC didn’t cool room; felt more like a fan. Staff was awesome; super friendly and helpful.

Perfect location, comfortable rooms

I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel San Silvestro with my 14 year old daughter. Before we arrived the staff were very helpful in arranging airport transfers and also with a few enquiries during our stay. We met three of the reception staff and their English is excellent. The rooms were clean and quiet despite being in a busy part of town. Nearly all the main sites are within a 20 minute walk so that made things easy for us. Breakfast was on a roof terrace and a great way to start the day. I’d certainly stay here again!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I am so happy that I returned. Chiara and Roberto were very helpful and friendly upon check in and check out. The location is very convenient and walkable to all tourist sites. My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I would recommend this hotel, and stay again.

The people at the front desk are very welcoming. The room was small but very clean. My only complaint is the bed was horrible. It was a single hard seemingly old mattress. I had a horrible sleep. I was underwhelmed by the breakfast too.

Excellent location to view and tour the city. We expected a little more room in the room we stayed in but, we understood that small hotel rooms are common in this area. The toilet would get a sewage smell and the air in the room did not seem to work very well. There was a lady at the desk who came across as rude however the gentleman at the desk made up for her lack of hospitality. We did not understand the extra $16 in Euros that we had to pay in cash. We were told for taxes? Normally, taxes are included in the bill. In the U.S. I would not pay over $800 for two nights in this hotel. Overall we had a pleasant experience and the breakfast offered was very nice. The location was just where we needed to be and the gentleman at the desk was friendly. If you are visiting from the U.S. keep in mind that the shower is so small that you cannot even turn around in it and there are no washcloths offered.

The location of this hotel was perfect to walk to main attractions such as Spanish Steos, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating.the breakfast was good and convenient. Will definitely stay here when returning :)

Great location and service

I was traveling solo and a little unprepared and the front desk was so helpful. I arrived early and they held my luggage. I had a museum I wanted to visit but site was only in Italian and they helped me figure it out. As a solo traveler first time out of the country and young I couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. Rooms are not huge, had air conditioning and nice renovated bathrooms. The breakfast was great. Meat, cheeses, fruit, pastries, etc. They also and helped me with return taxi service to the airport. Location in central in the city area. There was construction next door but I wasn’t in the room during the day for it to bother me.

The property is very convenient for shopping and walking to several main historic sites. It was updated in 2019. They have a small elevator and and an included breakfast that was one of the best that we enjoyed during our stay in Italy. The bed was comfortable. Staff was wonderful. They will arrange private transportation to the airport at a very good price.

Great Stay, Prime Location!

I stayed here with my hubby on vacation, which we started in Rome. I decided to book this hotel after reading such great reviews and it’s location. It’s in walking distance to all of the major historical sites, in a square where you can catch taxi’s and buses, plus lots of shops and restaurants. The rooms are great, with comfy a bed and accommodations. The breakfast included is a wonderful add on. The staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Marco at the front desk, who helped with directions, and excellent local restaurant recommendations. He remembered my name, greeting me each morning, which was so nice to have in a hotel. I highly recommend and I will stay here again when I’m next in Rome.

I really enjoyed staying here. Its located in the heart of everything the trevi fountain, pantheon shops,restaurants and the spanish steps are very close. The staff was great Marco was helpful and gave me instructions everyday how to take the train and got around. The property is clean and very well kept. The only slight issue i has was i could smell a funny scent from the bathroom sometimes. Which i thought was a a sewage issue . Overall great place. I would stay there again
