Quite disappointed on arrival at 9.30pm a they say no food available to order and only a bag of cashews at the bar. The room was two floors up And the floorboards were very noisy. Also the bathroom/toilet door had no lock and keeper opening whilst in use. Great staff though, incredibly friendly And lovely breakfast

Stunning position in Ross on Wye

The staff at the Royal were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is in a wonderful position overlooking the Wye Valley. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We had a room in the newer building with fabulous views. There is no lift at the hotel. The rooms with easiest access have several steps. The shower is over the bath.. Not wholly suited to thise with mobility issues.

My Mum and I had really great stay! Hotel full of character & history. Perfect view from our libvely room. Very friendly staff All meals were excellent! Will definitely stay again!! Thank you so much!
