It was a terrible experience with lots of damp with wall caving in. Bed was terrible with broken matress. Cups were dirty for tea and spoon. There was sugar all round rim of cups that were stuck to the saucer.We was told to request full refund. Carpet was filthy, stained black chair which i couldn't sit on as it was filthy. Mould in bathroom.

No thanks.

Loud pub downstairs, very loud. Room was ok, but patrons in the patio area were also very loud. Awful mattress, completely out of shape springs. Some corridor lights were out.

Superb value for money

A night's stay in Leamington for £48 with breakfast is fabulous value. The check in was seamless and friendly. The room and bathroom were small but perfectly serviceable. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was small but very welcome after a night out! The bar below the rooms was very busy. Fortunately my room wasn't directly over the bar but I imagine it could be noisy. There is a public car park close by costing £3 for 24 hours. For the price, I wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

Leamington spa

The Thomas James Hotel is great value for the money and all the staff were friendly the only downside would be if you find it hard to climb stairs there is on lifts but otherwise its great value.

Didn’t even get a chance to check in , asked for a refund for my room and no refund was issued , staff member was hostile and put tbe phone down on me twice. Don’t go here and I’d still like my money back

Clean but noisy!

For the price it's fine, room was clean and had everything needed. Bed was comfy, shower worked fine. But even though I was two floors up the noise from the bar downstairs and the smoking area out the back was very loud, couldn't get to sleep until the kareoke/disco ended at around midnight. I did stay on a Fri evening so not sure when this happens

It's not truly an hotel. More like a noisy pub with rooms above. The carpets were old and, thus, appeared unclean. I couldn't tell. The linen and bed were very clean. The shower head had to be hand-held as it was broken. The staff were very pleasant.

Ok for the money paid, included breakfast but apparently no chef so only offered do it yourself continental. No ice in the bar. Strange furniture layout in room, but other than this it's ok.

Good for the price at the city centre

Justify the price I paid.... 45£ for a night for 2 single double beds. Its okay to spend a night here but not suitable for kids as the room size is small. But the facilities were fine and at the city centre just beside the Railway station along with good breakfast that too included in price . Good to spend one night only.

Amazing price and great breakfast inckuded

For the price this place is amazing, with a really good English breakfast included in the room rate. You wouldn’t expect it to be luxurious, but it’s clean and perfectly comfortable. And that breakfast is really something when it’s included in the price
