A Vintage Retreat within earshot of Rio Ruidoso -10 min walk to Midtown Ruidoso.

Our home was originally built in1940. My husband and I have spent the last few years rebuilding it from the ground up, literally. (mostly my husband.) We wanted to save it! It's a lovely place! An historic house, in a magnificent spot! We are a 10 minute walk from Midtown Ruidoso, with wineries, breweries, live bands and many shops. Game trails surround us, so you can view deer, elk, and the occasional bear walk down to the nearby Rio Ruidoso river for a drink. They walk right past our house! We are close to pretty much anything you can think of. Skiing, just 45 minutes away, in the magical Sierra Blanca Mountains. Fish from a list of nearby lakes and streams. Hiking is endless from contained trails in town, to mountaintop trails deep in the woods. You can even go horseback riding! You will love the view out our front windows and you'll have 3 different patios to choose from, while listening to the burble of the Rio Ruidoso. The beds are comfortable and you'll enjoy central cooling and heating. You will love our place!
If you're ever in Arizona, we have a VRBO place near Flagstaff, in a town called "Parks". Our listing number is 2016190. Look us up.

Enjoyable Stay
Me, my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren enjoyed our stay. House was very clean, beds were very comfortable, instructions were easy to follow; was close to everything but was very peaceful and quite. We visited an ill member of our family and enjoyed a friends band playing at the Win, Place and show and relaxed at the house inbetween.

Amazing stay at Vintage Retreat
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was immaculately clean, the beds were so comfortable, they had refrigerated air that kept us cool and comfortable day and night, it was a short walk to the heart of Ruidoso, I could go on! The check in and out process was very simple, and all the necessities you would need were there. I didnt get in touch with Veronica a ton, but when I did have a question here or there, she was very quick to respond and was very accomidating. It truly was a great experience, and we would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone and would stay here again in the future!! Thank you, Veronica!

Vintage Retreat Ruidoso NM
Vintage Retreat was just a advertised. We had a wonderful stay at the Retreat. Our only regret was that we were not able to spend more time at the Retreat as we had family reunion obligations that kept us very busy. The beds were very comfortable, the pet friendly atmosphere was great and Veronica was so very easy to work with and able to answer all of my questions promptly. If we travel to Ruidoso with our pets again, Vintage Retreat will be the first on our list to stay at.

Excellent location!
Perfectly clean and exactly as described. You can tell the entire home has recently been renovated. The location is fantastic- especially for holiday weekends. You can walk to town instead of hunting for a place to park!
