Nestled in downtown Salida on the Arkansas River- this updated getaway has everything needed to make your Rocky Mountain vacation perfect! Steps to restaurants, shops and art galleries. And, minutes to miles of hiking/biking trails on the Salida Mountain Trail system.

This home offers:
-2 Bedrooms with Queen size pillow top mattresses & Smart TV in each bedroom with the Queens
-1 Bedroom with 4 bunk beds
-2 Well behaved dogs are allowed
-Wi-fi
-Smart TV located in front and back living room
-2 Bathrooms
-Full size laundry room
-Riverfront
-Covered Back Deck

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Easy check in. Excellent location in 5 min walking distance from downtown Salida. Home provided extra towels, small toys, and cozy space for us to spend the holiday weekend with friends and family. Would stay again!

Terrible beds
If you’re the kind of person that can sleep anywhere, then this property has a lot going for it and will probably be a good fit for you. But if comfortable beds ranks high on your list of priorities in a rental, then don’t stay here. The queen beds both have dips in them that make the beds lumpy, uneven and miserable to sleep in. The front queen bed also had two broken legs on the frame and made a loud creaking noise every time the occupants moved. The twin beds were fine if you don’t mind bunk beds. None of the adults got any sleep the two nights we were here. It was also hard for our young daughter to sleep because the kids room is right by the TV and the handle on the kids room door is broken so the door won’t stay shut. There are so many great things going for this property, it baffled me that sleeping arrangements and comfort were so low on their priority list!

Cute and fully stocked!
Pros: Clean with one exception below. Fully stocked-pleasant surprise as in past short term rentals had to purchase paper towels, toilet paper, soap, as not enough stocked. Plenty of room to spread out. Welcoming outdoor space and surprise visits from a buck,doe and fawn daily!!! More tv's than are needed. Short walk to downtown which has a riverwalk, playground for kids, and plenty of restaurants. Mountain views 360 from outside the home! Dog friendly, and our dog loved the yard and the dog beds provided (though she slept in her own crate). Cons: had a musty smell (not dog) so kept windows open most of the time though a bit chilly. Had an active spider web above the fridge and across the brick. Overall: great place, hope to stay there for future visits.

Fun in the Rocky Mountains
We had a great time staying in Salida, CA. There was an overbooking issue for the first night of our stay at this VRBO, but the management company made up for it by comping us a night and finding another lovely home for us to use on our first night. We definitely would rather have been able to settle right in and not move again, but things happen, and they made it as smooth as possible. They even let us leave our dog with the cleaning crew before we could officially check in so that we wouldn't have to leave her in the car all day while we waited. All-in-all, it was a great experience. We would definitely book again.

Peaceful Relaxation
This property was everything we had hoped for! It was clean, spacious and right on the Arkansas river!! It's in a prime location, close to a grocery store, restaurants and shops. Gabby, our pet, is 14 month's old and she doesn't get to be off of the leash at all when she's outside of our home. She really enjoyed the BIG yard to freely run and play in!! My wife has already recommended the property to one of her co-workers who has seen pictures of our stay there.
