Our goal is to have amenities that help make your stay in Utah as comfortable and affordable.

The Kitchen, bathroom and shared laundry room fill the basic need of each respectively, the bedroom where you will sleep has high end finishes a luxury bed, pillows and bedding. The kitchen area is quaint. The bathroom is luxurious.

Enjoy a grand stay in happy Salt Lake City. Take a look at the map and you will see you are in the heart of all this city hast to offer. Being next to the capitol means there are always officers nearby making Capitol Hill (where you're staying) one of the safest places in the valley.

You're in walking distance from all Downtown has to offer.

The FREE #500 bus picks up across the street and will take you various placed downtown on weekdays.

If you have a rental car we have free parking in the back.

Set back behind one of Utah's most iconic buildings, the Utah state capitol. You are at the center of everything you need. 1/2 block walk to the east and down the hill you will find memory grove. A portion of the park is an off collar dog park, the other half is full of historical sites and memorials.

If you are visiting on the weekend and would like to attend any particular worship services, please let us know to which ones so we can locate them and the appropriate time for attending.


Checking out Checklist: We charge a minimal cleaning fee with the understanding that our guests will do their best to return the place as they found it. The biggest thing you can do to help is wash and dry used sheets towels in the laundry room provided, don’t worry if you don’t have time, we got it. Please wash any of your used dishes. Take a look in the shower, toilet and sinks for any dirt or debris, wash it away with water. Large cans near the garage green is garbage, blue is recycle and brown is for garden waste, please empty your garbages. The Shared (being renovated) laundry room has a washing machine, dryer, new garbage bags, broom, vacuum and various other cleaning agents. Completing these simple tasks has allowed us to keep our property available at reasonable rates for all of our wonderful guests over the past 6 years. We realize that Airbnb is a family, we’re appreciative of your help and want you to know that we are here for you as well.

Your neighbors on all sides are very accommodating and would love to help you with anything you may need.

This property is terrific all year round for a visit to Salt Lake City. Many festivals and widely-known events are held in the city each year. A glance into what the city has to offer sheds light on why Salt Lake City – known as The City of Joy.

The property is located in a neighborhood that provides a great peaceful escape from busy Salt Lake City yet is only minutes away from Salt Lake City International Airport, the Gateway Mall, City Creek Shopping Mall, Vivint Smart Home Area, Salt Palace Convention Center and 30-minute drive from the ski resorts and the cottonwood canyons for beautiful hiking, climbing, MNTN biking, skiing and snowboarding.

Across the street is a bus stop that can take you anywhere you want to go. Immediately down the hill is our light rail system known as TRAX that takes you to and from the airport, as far east as sugar house, as far south as Provo and as far west as west valley. You can also take buses up to all the major skii resorts. Easy to get relatively anywhere you need.

However... you may not need use of any public transit at all. Downtown Salt Lake, including the convention center and Vivint arena are within walking distance.
- Pet fees $25 each week (1-7 days) - Quiet hours 10pm on weekdays Midnight on weekends. Please take off your shoes upon entering. -At the back of the house there are cans for waste. The green can is garbage. Blue is recycling. Brown is for leaves and grasses etc. Please do not put garbage in the blue recycling or the the brown can. The city gets upset and won't pick them up if you do. Then I'll have to ask you to remove the garbage and put it in the correct can. If the green cans are full feel free to find another green can on the street, if there are none send me a message and I'll help you out.
