Urban living in a quiet, historic neighborhood! The Casita is a 0.5-mile walk to the Pearl complex & river. Casita is a charming, restored 1930s home w/ a covered porch, back deck w/ dining, huge indoor dining table, and 4 streaming TVs with Hulu Live with ESPN (watch your games!), Disney, and Prime. NEW A/C will keep you cool in the hot summer months.

The nearby Pearl provides upscale cuisine, bars, a local farmers market, shopping, & thoughtful outdoor areas, including a splash pad.
The Pearl has a farmer's market every Saturday and Sunday, along with special events all throughout the year. Brackenridge Golf Course is 1.3 miles away. The DoSeum and Witte are about 1.5 miles away. Only 1.7 miles from the Alamo downtown & less than a mile from all major highways. St. Mary's Strip is just a few blocks north.

Entertain in the dining room, which has a large rustic dining table with seating for 8+, a stand-up bar, and a 50-inch smart TV. The living room is cozy with two sofas and a 60-inch smart TV.

Our charming casita has 2 large bedrooms and 2 full baths. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds, with full mattresses on the bottom and twin on top. The first bathroom has a shower/tub combo, and the second bathroom has a shower.

The home is historic and has been recently restored! The home has updated modern comforts such as appliances and fixtures while keeping the historic charm of the original home, such as the bathroom tile and 91-year Art Deco old doors.

Each bedroom, the dining area, and the living room have Smart TVs (4 total) and access to some of your favorite streaming channels such as Hulu, Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney Plus.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, a 5-burner gas stove and oven, and a microwave. There is a utility room with a full-sized washer and dryer.

The backyard has a 6-foot privacy fence and the front yard has a 4-foot iron fence. There is a driveway with parking for 3-4 cars behind a 6-foot iron gate. You may also park one car in front of the gate and one in front of the house.

This home is in a community with wonderful neighbors that include the owners, other homeowners, renters, and vacation renters like yourselves who will welcome you! In turn, please respect the community. No parties please, but have fun and enjoy the area!

Perfect for families with children

Nicely Restored Home near the Pearl District
Nice, clean house that is recently renovated located in the up and coming neighborhood that is very close to the Pearl District which has lots of fun shops and restaurants. It was perfect for a home base to explore San Antonio.

Vibrant, clean, great location!
The Casita is lovely with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen is well equipped and there is colorful artwork throughout the home. The vintage cottage has a great deal of charm and is clean, warm, and inviting. Lisa and Alfonso are helpful and communicative. The location is fabulous--literally less than 15 minutes to everything that we wanted to see and do, with the exception of the missions that are farthest south (San Juan and Espada) and those were within 20 minutes. Great restaurants and Pearl are quite nearby. Would stay here again without hesitation!

Great 2BR house for quick weekend stay!
This house was very clean and as advertised online. It had everything we needed provided! It was just my husband and I, but could accommodate 6 more in a bunk room. We used as a home base while visiting our daughter at Trinity , which was only 5 minutes away so it was perfect for that. The neighborhood is a little transitional but that being said this was one of the nicer homes on the street and just down the block is a newer police station. Convenient to different areas of San Antonio. Owners gave good instructions and were communicative! Would recommend and stay again for a small group/quick weekend!!

Great Place to Return Home for a Week
I chose this house because I thought I would like the location. I have two sons that wanted to experience San Antonio nightlife as well as popular attractions. I have family here who live in the Stone Oak area so I wanted to have easy access to visit them. This little house was perfect for all the needs we had. Boys could walk to St Marys Street to party. I could hop on to 281 to see my family. We were a five minute drive from The Riverwalk and The Pearl. I plan on staying here every time I come back to visit family. Loved this super cute little house!

My two sons and I enjoyed our trip to SA and loved this place. It had everything we needed, the property manager was wonderful and very quick at communication. The location was perfect for the places we visited. Would definitely recommend!

The house was beautiful. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. It's located not far from everywhere we wanted to visit. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Definitely would stay here again on our next trip to Texas.

House was perfect for our family with little ones. She provided a pack and play which was a huge plus! The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Spring break
We stayed here a few days over spring break with our young children. The house is small but very comfortable, fit the 5 of us easily. The location is convenient for the Pearl and downtown. The owners were very accommodating, even provided us a pack and play, and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again.

San Antonio Gem
We cannot say enough great things about this house and our hosts Lisa and Alfonso. We picked San Antonio for a long spring vacation. The house was absolutely immaculate and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet with lots of neighbors walking their dogs. The hosts are very easy to communicate with - they really have earned their SuperHost status and we can't wait to come back.

Charming Home in Perfect Location
Just as described, this lovely home was perfect for our family of 5! Lots of room and a cozy and well cared for historic gem of a home! It was close to the Riverwalk/dt, Pearl District, restaurants and the interstate for our trips to the Wildlife Park, the Caverns and Austin. The house itself was well appointed with new appliances, tv's in every room, super comfortable beds in both rooms (bunks in the 2nd bedroom was great for the kids), the front porch seating was awesome to enjoy a peaceful morning tea and the back deck furniture was great for relaxing in the sun. Our family loved sitting at the big dining room table playing games(also provided) and/or discussing our plans for the day. The owners were great communicators and super responsive! We highly recommend this home for a stay in San Antonio!

Wonderful home & location near the Riverwalk
This well appointed home had everything we needed for our family of 5 for a 3 day get away. Great space, nice bathrooms, kitchen/dining space were great, and as a fellow label maker lover, the notes helped us operate like home! Art, food, entertainment, shopping, and more all within walking distance, and if driving, still in a great location for hopping on the interstate. Great long weekend home base
Our family of 4 enjoyed a long weekend at the house! We took a short drive to the downtown area, walked to the Pearl area multiple times, and it was a great home base for visiting with local family. It is a fairly small house, but again perfect for our needs! The owners were very gracious and very fast communicators. Would recommend!

Cozy stay within easy driving distance of local attractions
Our family of 5 stayed two nights at this property. The home was exceptionally clean and has many charming features that look to be original to the house. The king-sized bed in the master was very comfortable, and the second bedroom had plenty of room for our three teens. The kitchen has updated appliances, and the full-sized washer and dryer was a plus. This house is on a quiet street and is within close driving distance to attractions like Pearl Farmer' Market and the Alamo/Riverwalk. My husband enjoyed his morning coffee on the front porch; there are a nice table and chairs on a back deck to enjoy dinner outside if desired. The owners are quick to reply to messages, and have made sure to include little "extras" to make the house feel like a home. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a great location!
The house was exactly as described in pictures. This central location made it so easy for us to get to many sites and have plenty of adventure! It’s within a 5 to 10 minute drive pretty much anywhere downtown including the Pearl, the Alamo, and the Riverwalk. The air conditioners work great which really helped to beat the San Antonio summer heat up and there was entertainment at the house with the card games and board games as well as a TV in every room in.

Clean little gem
This was a great vacation rental for our family trip to SA. It was close to many of the spots we visited. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our family of 6 was comfortable here for the week. I loved the front porch for coffee in the mornings and the kids loved shooting hoops. We were there during one of the hottest times of year and the a/c had no problem keeping up! The checkin/out instructions and process was simple, and the owner responsive to any questions. I would stay here again.
