This hotel is a transiant hotel, it had state homeles staying here and transient workers. We do not care who stays here but, the entire hotel smelled like marijuana, the bar b que area we could not use. It was taken over by the transient workers and homeless from the state. They had set up a bar and the sat at the bar b que area night and day.
Twice police were present at the hotel. We witnessed drug deals happen in the parking lot.
We asked for our money back to changed hotels but were refused reimbursement
I am an old retired Deputy, who worked undercover narcotics. All I saw and my family saw was in plain sight.
Barking dogs in the hotel kept us up one night, several calks at 1:30 am 2"20 am did not resolve the barking dog.
It should be on the website for this hotel that they have homeless housed there by the state, that they have transient workers staying at this hotel.
It is not for families with young children as we had with us.
The fact that they charged us in full and refused to reimburse us so we could find anothe hotel. That is truly wrong. This place is about money, not safety nor travelors comfort.
Shame on this hotel for not caring enough to reimburse us to find another place where we felt save. On a retirement budget and only staying there because it was close to the hospital where I was getting cancer treatment. They could care less, they had my money already
