Staff very helpful. Lovely older hotel near SJO. Very nice pool, restaurant. Room is very large. There are multiple 2 story buildings around the central pool area. No elevators. Might be an issue if steps are a problem.

Good stop over hotel with reasonable prices it exceeded expectations. Service was stellar. Pool looked great and ambience in the inner garden quite pleasant. Outside the hotel is noisy with traffic but we didn't hear a thing in our room. Ate at the hotel for lunch and was only a five minute walk to an assortment of small quality restaurants from Indian, Mexican, sushi to Italian in close proximity. We were very happy with the Italian. Hey, not bad for a stopover hotel at a great price.

Property was ok. The beds are not the best and the hot water was not working when we arrived. The staff fixed the issue quickly and was back up and working within 30 minutes. The walls are pretty thin and we were located next tot the stairwell which was a bit noisy.

Very good hotel by the airport. Our flight was at 6am, and this hotel is 15mins away. My partner and I stayed at the pool an entire morning, we ordered drinks and food, which was all very good. The area had sun all day compared to most of the cities around. It seemed to be hotter at the hotel than downtown. I would recommend it. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English.

The rooms are nothing like the pictures. They put me in a room I felt unsafe, it looked more like a motel, the balcony facing the street and it smelled like mold. I asked them to refund me or change me to another room, which they did. It was a suite, bigger, smelled nicer, but noisy and the furniture looked old, the towels like rags... honestly, pay more and stay at a better location like Escazu.
