Excellent staff, super helpful and courteous. The hotel itself can use a facelift. The pool was clean the first few days of my arrival but disgusting by mid-week and wasn’t cleaned for the rest of my stay. Swim up bar lacked items from menu and the restaurants in the hotel were usually closed or didn’t have menu items either. However, there were restaurants within walking distance and Uber Eats is also in abundance. Travel in December is a beast from this location.

There was only 1person on the desk, she was doing her best, but check in took 40 minutes. Very disappointed the free shuttle starts at 5:00, but we need to go to the airport at:400 am. The hallways ect are very clean , but the room is very much worn out - really debated whether to have a shower ,- it was that bad Areas around our room on the outside of the building the paint was peeling and gave off a chernoble vibe. The lobby and front entrance wee beautiful - the rest of the place could use some maintenance. Still bummed about the shuttle - the desk arranged a private shuttle at not inconsiderable cost. I am / we are not so happy with our choice

Pros - convenient to airport, unique layout. Staff was friendly but not the person helping in the casino. Cons - outdated, mold around corners everywhere. Casino they have is a no win situation so go play small amounts if you want something to do since there is not much else to do in the area of the motel

The concierge was super helpful! The room was very clean, but a touchup outdated. Put on a nice breakfast. They did not have bottled water available, which is what we preferred so we had to pay a lot of money for bottled water. The biggest issue we had was their shuttling service to the hotel was very limited and only ran every hour.. we missed it by a couple minutes while getting our luggage and ended up having to taxi, which cost a lot of money.

The jacuzzi had mold in it was slippery unclean the cleaning lady always forgot something like towels coffee creamer. The sushi restaurant closed only one open was the bar at 2pm and Quattro. The breakfast staff were very nice. The hotel shuttle is by reservation required in advance. Do not take cab from airport it will cost you like 40 We did uber to most of our outings. We met 2 of them who we made a decent offer and they took us everywhere for a set price which is safer to have a local w you. Overall Costa Rica was very pleasant w friendly people
