Short and sweet getaway
My siblings and our souses wanted to do a mini vaca together, close to home. We live approximately an hour away. Decided on Sandusky area and a day trip to Kelly’s Island. Found this interesting mansion in downtown Sandusky and happy we chose to stay here. Very clean home with plenty of space for the 6 of us- house sleeps up 20 to give you an idea of how big it is. Has an adorable rec room to play cards or stretch out on the hammock. The hosts, Diane and Mike made us feel welcomed-they live on site so there if you needed anything -always made sure you had breakfast muffins and a little sweet treat in the evening. The home had just enough necessities that made you feel at home. We had a fabulous time and would choose to stay there again.

This was hand down one of the best Air-BNB stay I have ever experienced. It was very clean and everything was very organized! And we even got a round of donuts in the morning! Come prepared with everything you need even some presents in the fridge!! I will be recommending this to friend and will be booking again for next year!

House was incredible with lots of room for 6 athletes. Just a few blocks from the race location. The host live on site and are awesome. Loved talking with them and the history of the place. Also the homemade muffins are incredible. I would stay there again if we come back to the race.

The property was clean and in walking distance to many restaurants, everything downtown and the waterfront! We watched the sunset several nights at the casual Dock Side restaurant. We went to Cedar Point several times and it’s about a 10 minute drive. We rented jet skis at Bayview Watercraft Rentals and it was priced right and about a 12 minute drive. Our kids are 11 and 14 so not quite old enough to walk around by themselves but we had no problem finding things for us to do as a family.

Great location with tons of room
The house is enormous! We had plenty of room to spread out with three teenage boys. Diane brought muffins for us in the mornings and cleaned and replaced towels throughout our stay, so it had the feel of a bed and breakfast. She was available for questions about the surrounding area whenever we needed her as her residence is connected.

The location was quiet and a short drive from Cedar point. Also access to lots of fun things in downtown. Beds were comfortable. Shower and tub were perfect after a long day at Cedar Point. Very welcoming. Felt like a bed and breakfast. Highly recommended and would stay again for sure!

2022 Ohio Bike Week
Location was right in the heart ❤️ of downtown close to water, bars, restaurants, and attractions. Everything you needed plus more. Owners are very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We had our Harleys and Mike moved his vehicle out of the garage so our bikes wouldn't get wet. Mike my sister said she will be waiting for her blueberry muffins next time.

Great for Cedar Point and Islands
Diane and Michael were wonderful hosts. Very easy access to Cedar Point and can walk to the ferry to head to the islands. The kitchenette was stocked with some basics, which was a plus. I highly recommend for a night or two! I did not clearly see that the sitting area is a common area, so be aware of that and know your needs - especially if you are planning a longer stay. The 3rd bedroom is upstairs through the common area.

Perfect Trip
Travelled with my spouse and 3 kids with plans to go to Cedar Point and to explore Lake Erie The location and layout was perfect and Diane is a wonderful host. It was the perfect balance of privacy with an occasional check in and the little treats and provisions gave this a bed and breakfast type feel. We drove to Cedar Point two days and it was 10 minutes even at peak traffic times. We were also a short walk from the pier and the ferry boats to the Lake Erie islands. We will be back and recommend this place for a young family

A Perfect Stay
Location was wonderful, and hosts were very kind. Even gave us breakfast and snacks, as well as provided groceries like milk, eggs, butter, juice, and bread. Super clean, and although the layout was a little confusing, it still was a lovely location for a family trip. Close to downtown Sandusky, and a short walk to the jet express for Cedarpoint.

Wonderful Property/Location
From donuts in the morning for the kids, to bringing out a pool for our twin toddlers, these owners couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everything was very clean and inviting. You won’t find a better location for a rental than this one, just a few minutes from the lake and Cedar Point. This place allows you to experience everything Sandusky has to offer. I couldn’t be happier with how this rental turned out for our large family.
