I’ve stayed here many times before as they are well located, reasonably priced and take dogs. But I’ll look for a new hotel in Santa Fe next time. They haven’t renovated for years or really taken much care of the rooms and property. Our bathroom door didn’t close (it was severely warped and water damaged), the bathroom was clean but grimy, stained and mildewed. The floor and walls were also grimy and beat up. The remote didn’t work. Finally, never stay downstairs. It might be more convenient to your car but due to the bare floors and flimsy construction, your upstairs neighbors sound like they are playing basketball. This has always been a problem with this hotel. The first room that we were given wasn’t made up. The front desk staff were trying their best and not at fault. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience and recommend you try elsewhere.

It was fine.
We checked in kind of late bc we were driving in from out of town. One of the front desk workers was really nice, the other lady was nice but seemed really out of it? Anyway, we were assigned a room that already had someone sleeping in it - and I walked in on them and their dog sleeping. They were able to get me another room, but I booked a king and was given a double queen. HOWEVER - the location was perfect and the price was right.

Good budget option
Really great value for the price. Pretty much what you’d expect in a massive motel at this rate. They’ve done some light cosmetic renovations to make it look brighter and newer. Staff is all very friendly and helpful, but don’t try to take the shuttle, couldn’t figure that one out. Took an Uber instead. TV has a couple channels, which is nice and there is a full fridge and a keurig. If you want laminate floors ( which I recommend) ask for the bottom floor. Dog friendly, which is awesome, but no good grassy areas if your dogs are picky. All in all a very good stay !
