AMAZING HOME AWAY FROM HOME!
We are a retired couple from Niagara-on-the-Lake (Ontario Canada) and stayed here for 18 days. We have rented many homes over the years and this one far exceeded all others. Many other reviews for this place document the extensive amenities, comfortable bedding/towels and well stocked high quality cooking utensils plus storage containers/wrap/foil. This home is as stocked as your own, if not even more - from panty/fridge food, appliances, to bathroom/medicine cabinet items, with multiple choices of brands. Great gas stove and gas BBQ. Super clean and decorated as a home versus a rental property with minimum décor. Larry and Wanda were super hosts and responsive to all our queries. We would definitely choose this place again when coming back to this California area. Truly a home away from home. Thank you Wanda and Larry.

Perfect Home Base in Sonoma County!
It’s a 10+/10!! Larry and Wanda’s Casa de Gamay is so homey, comfortable, clean—and the best stocked VRBO we’ve ever experienced! Communication and recommendations from the owners were top notch. Perfect, warm, & welcoming...a home away from home.
This home went beyond our expectations. The hosts were communicative and responsive to questions, the house was spacious enough for my husband and me, plus our young adult children and their partners, with comfy beds and plenty of bedding (two on a fold-out with a comfy mattress topper provided), and immaculately clean. The hosts provided so many surprises - pantry staples, frig staples, freshly baked cookies(!), snacks, wine, and so much more. The garage was stocked with river rafts, toys, laundry, etc. The wifi worked great - I had a work meeting and sat on the lovely back patio. We went to Sonoma State Beach and also had a fabulous meal in Healdsburgh. Quiet neighborhood- everything was perfect. Thank you, Larry and Wanda! We had a great trip and would choose your home again.

Excellent stay at Santa Rosa
Larry and Wanda are excellent hosts, fast response and easy to communicate. We loved the house, it was clean and spacious. The pantry has so many things that will WOW you, spices, coffee, etc. Larry and Wanda got us a dozen of eggs, half and half, wine, etc. There is a shaded trail close to the house with creek that we enjoyed walking in the afternoon. We stayed at many rental properties before, this one really WOW us! Thank you Larry and Wanda for sharing your property with us.

Exceptionally clean, incredibly cozy and absolutely darling. This property provides every single solitary thing that a person could need on vacation. They have the most comfortable beds and bedding, every dish and pan one would need for a meal, a cozy couch and family room, shampoo, conditioner, a darling backyard and even a bottle of wine with chocolate left as a gift. The owners contacted us before our stay and asked what kind of creamers and milk we prefer. They provided coffee, tea and everything you could want in it! They even had extra food in case you showed up with nothing. We are definitely staying again and highly recommend this exceptional property.

This property exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful and beautifully maintained. We arrived at 11:00 PM and the house was easy to find, even at night. Larry was outside to greet us - a very thoughtful gesture. The home - it quickly felt like our home - is very user friendly. Everything is on one floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the spices and condiments you could want to prepare your own meals. We appreciated the convenience of eating breakfast at the house. We ate our dinners out but noted all the glassware, flatware, and dishes available for use. Larry and Wanda provided all the toiletries that are such a hassle to pack - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, but also toothpaste and even shaving cream! The location is both quiet and convenient. We stayed a week for wine tastings. We went to wineries in both Sonoma and Napa counties. In every case, we were able to hop onto whatever main road we needed very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return. Casa de Gamay truly is your home away from home.

A wonderful house and host
The house is a neat and clean three bedroom, with a spacious kitchen. The backyard is cozy and nice. Most importantly, our hosts were great with their communications and how they had the house stocked- we have stayed in numerous VRBO homes and they were the best!

We were in town for my daughters wedding and having a wonderful place to stay was truly a great relief as we dealt with all the pre-wedding and post-wedding actions! They hosts were very considerate and the home was "turn-key" ready with food and beverages and great spaces.
