Submersed in the peaceful and charming countryside near Cercal in Southwest Alentejo with rolling golden hills dotted by pine, olive and cork trees.
Built in a traditional “monte de Alentejo” style, but full of modern amenities and detail. The house can lodge up to 9 people + babies, has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden with its own private area and barbecue area. There is a lovely terrace with a dining table and small lounge area overlooking the garden where guests can relax and enjoy a good meal and watch the sunset.

Beyond the garden area, the villa has acres of fenced farmland where domestic animals such as horses, cows or sheep may at times be allowed to grass. As the name indicates, the property is also a haven for storks who return to their nests in the trees on the hilltop every spring, to raise their young.

Although shops and restaurants are only a five-minute drive away, the area feels peaceful and secluded. The villa is perfect for nature walks as it is located in a protected area surrounded by the spectacular Vicentine Coast walking trails.
