Nestled in a quiet wooded setting overlooking the Sapphire valley, this inviting home offers a rustic-modern décor and all of the comforts of home. Close to waterfalls, hiking, skiing, canoeing, rafting, horseback riding, as well as shopping and restaurants. Spend peaceful days enjoying nature, fishing in the lake, or using the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities (https://sapphirevalleyresorts.com/). There is an outdoor security camera located near the carport overlooking up the driveway towards the road.

Great House for a Getaway
Beautiful home in a quaint neighborhood with amazing views! The floor plan was perfect and allowed my parents to be on one side of the house and my family (my husband and I and our four children) on the other. The home was equipped with everything we could have needed and more! It was very clean and tidy and the owner offered many suggestions on places to eat and shop and things to do locally with our children. Access to a laundry room was a huge plus when coming in from tubing. The amenities at Sapphire Valley were great too. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area!

This house was so perfect for our family! Having the split floor plan gave us privacy near the kids and my parents got peace and privacy on the other side of the common rooms. The first thing we all did every morning was to look at the view of the mountains. My dad and I sat and swung enjoying that view a lot. All of the beds and furniture was quite comfortable and we loved having the fireplace. The location was central to Brevard and Highlands and we were able to do a lot of adventuring with a quiet and restful place to come back to.

Awesome view
We had a fabulous time at Jason’s house in Sapphire Valley. Some of us played golf and walked the dogs at the dog park. The view was amazing and we loved sitting on the deck to watch the sunset. We had no problem getting amenity cards. Communication was easy and Jason was available for questions at a minute notice. The house was clean and well appointed. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our week-long stay at this lovely property with a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains. The bed was very comfortable, as was all furniture. Summer Getaway
As previously noted, the view from the deck gives this house marks above other houses we've stayed at in the area. We always had a pleasant breeze and lots of wildlife to view including a bear just passing through. The accommodations were exactly as described and very comfortable. The host did a fantastic job of communicating with us prior to and during our stay. Besides adding some comfortable reclining chairs on the back deck, our group gives this property a 10/10. Hope to be back again!

Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Celebration.
This year was very special (my birthday and our 70th wedding anniversary). We have stayed in several places in the Sapphire area, but the view there was the most spectacular of all our stays there. I cannot imagine that view during the fall season. The unit is very comfortable in size and furnishings. The entrance would have been a bit of a challenge for me (my 88th birthday) but we had our kids there that took care of all the driving.

It was a wonderful home.....very comfortable. Beautiful view off the back deck just like pictures. Beautiful area if you enjoy mountain setting. Host was excellent to communicate with. Driveway is short and steep like he mentions in description. There isn't much of a front or side yard so to speak for dogs or kids. Setting is beautiful in a wonderful neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Jason was so easy to deal with and very responsive. The house is super clean and well appointed. We loved the fireplace and the thoughtful supplies in the kitchen and bath. The beds were super comfy. The location is perfect-close to Cashiers and a ton of hiking opportunities. Hot water tank failure one day into stay. While the owner did his diligence in trying to contact a plumber, the immediate solution to the problem, aside from apologies, was to have two elderly individuals drive 9.2 miles round-trip and take a shower in a community center at a ski resort, and to refund a pittance of the total sum invested in this trip. This felt like “sorry for the problem, sucks to be you, glad it isn’t me” type of response so often encountered in today’s world. At absolutely no point in time was the offer made to refund the balance of the charges if we wanted to depart and find alternative lodging. Nope. It was ‘here’s $## back, now you drive to some center we as property owners enjoy and take a shower if you feel the need. Oh, and by the way, if you ever decide to stay again, you can get a reduced price.’ Nice gesture that many hosts give to returning customers, but didn’t quite address the current situation. Did we find our stay at Whitewater Whispers to be a good value? One full day of yes, absolutely. Four days of no, not a chance. Am I overreacting? Try shutting hot water off at your house for three days and report back. If I were to offer a suggestion, find someone in the area qualified to perform a visual maintenance inspection a couple of times a year. Stuff happens, but being prepared to address the stuff, not at the expense of the customer, is part of the rental gig.

A Perfect Mountain Retreat
We loved this vacation home and its stunning views. It was a bit too cold to enjoy the deck a few of the days during our stay, but the bank of windows allowed us to still enjoy the beautiful views from inside. The decor was very pleasing. There was also plenty of storage available for us to organize our stuff, which often is not the case in many vacation rentals we've booked in the past. The community the house is in is also very nice, and with all the roads being paved, it gave us plenty of places to walk the dogs. We enjoyed this vacation home so much that we spent most of our time at the house. The owner was also an excellent host who provided us with all the information we needed while not being overwhelming. He also checked to see if we needed anything during our stay and let us know that we were free contact him for any reason that might came up. We'll definitely book this home the next time we want to stay in Sapphire / Cashiers area of the North Carolina mountains.

Enjoyed a romantic week in the mountain air and colorful splendor of Sapphire. Home is centrally located to many quaint communities, in a paved community of nice homes, and is well appointed and clean.
