Hinnat ja talon säännöt

Wintery NYE Friends Getaway
A very lovely and spacious house. Everything as advertised. Rooms and beds were clean, WiFi worked great, cable TV a major plus for our group for the NYE college football games, and a great basement and stocked kids play area in the basement. It was perfect for our group of 35 year old adults with kids ranging from 0-7. Other notables: The kitchen knives were sharp which is so rare these days. It’s hard to say how much we appreciated this. The dishwasher, as advertised, work like a champ which let us spend more time having fun than doing dishes. Everything in the house is subtly labeled so finding everything in the bathrooms and kitchen was very easy. Owner and property manager were great. All communication was rapid fast and the one issue where we ran out of trash bags on our 2nd to last day was resolved in under an hour with a simple text message. A lovely home for a winter escape and I’m sure a perfect destination for a Lake Michigan summer vacation.

I had people from 3 different households and an age range of 7-64. This house was perfect! Plenty of space. Kitchen had great supplies. Comfortable walk to downtown. Best part was the “secret” room above the garage that gave the grumpy bachelor a place to hide from the kids It was a lovely en-suite. Great house!

8 Women Friends get together
This house is just lovely! It handled the 8 of us who are all too old to share a bed very nicely. It's easily walkable to downtown (about 6 blocks with one moderate hill). The screened in porch is a treasure. And the dining table for 8 was a greet hangout place. No bedrooms on the main floor, but that wasn't an issue for us. Located in a quiet neighborhood that is nice for walking. The kitchen is very well appointed and organized. The owner communicates well. WE would happily stay here again. Do note as stated in the writeup that you should bring shower soap. Some of us forgot.

Perfect place for a large group
We had 13 people together and still had room to spare. The house is laid out perfectly for a large group. We could all eat and play games together around the large table or break off into separate groups indoors or out. A quick walk to town and a short drive to the beach. The owner was helpful and responsive. We would love to return.

We traveled to Saugatuck with extended family, which included 4 families and kids aged 4-9. There was more than enough space and kitchen had all the right accessories for meals at home. We loved being so close to the tennis courts and baseball field and found the short walk to town manageable for all. Overall, this was an exceptional visit.

Fantastic Home for Family Reunion
The Saugatuck Modern Farm House was the perfect setting for our family reunion of 14 people. It offered a comfortable, spacious layout for the different ages in our family (63 years of age to 8 months) and the amenities of the house were amazing. The kitchen was so well supplied with kitchen equipment ranging from kitchen utensils, pots, pans, small appliances, double ovens, two refrigerators, bakeware, just to name a few! It was the perfect distance to town but also to the baseball field, tennis courts and basketball courts of the high school. The house was very clean and all the beds were comfortable. It was nice to see an ample supply of beach toys, beach chairs, and board games for extra entertainment. We are looking forward to spending another family reunion at the Saugatuck Modern Farm House! We highly recommend it!

Perfect house for our family with married adult children
We had an amazing week and the house was a huge part of our experience. The layout of the house is perfect for a large family. The many different spots to hang out were well utilized. We have 4 kids and 3 that are married and a grandchild. There was more than enough room for all of us. Location can’t be beat. We walked to town often. Just a couple blocks away. We drove to Douglas Beach, Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dunes Park. Easy drive and parking was never an issue. Kitchen is well stocked, beds comfortable and house was very clean. It’s a beautiful house and we’d stay again without hesitation.

Fantastic Getaway in Saugatuck!
We had such a fantastic time in Saugatuck and this home was icing on the cake :) We immediately felt at home. Everything was so lovely. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table. Just a short walk to downtown, but I loved being hidden away on this quiet street. Love the screened in porch. Made for perfect mornings with coffee and a book. Hope to come back soon!

College Roomies 70th Birthday Get Together
Six of us from the WMU class of ‘76 wanted to get together this year, as we all hit the milestone 70th birthday. Luckily we all still live in MI, so we wanted a big house in a quaint little town where we could all gather and catch up on life and remember our bronco days and celebrate our friendships! This house fit the bill! We loved the screened in porch and large dining table where we could all gather. Some took a walk; some shopped. We picked up pizza for the first night and dined out the second night. Cooking brunch was a breeze in the well appointed large kitchen. Communication with Alex, the owner, re: check in, check out and even a “how is everything going” was easy. The write up and instructions were accurate; bring your own body wash/shower soap and shampoo. There are no bedrooms on the main level. Just be aware if anyone in your group has mobility issues. But a great time was had by all.

Ideal getaway with Adult sibling group
We had a restful and comfortable stay in the Farmhouse for a short getaway with our siblings/spouses. We loved everything about the house - amenities, decor and location. It was a nice walk to downtown Saugatuck. We enjoyed the restaurants and the shops. We hike at Saugatuck Sand Dunes State Park to see Lake Michigan and spent a day in Holland enjoying the tulips at their peak. We would love to return to this house again and stay longer!

My family and I (two adult couples and children 16, 14, age 12) had the most amazing week at this wonderful home. I have stayed at plenty of rental properties, and no house has ever been this clean, organized, and convenient. We had plenty of space to spread out and plenty to do when we were together. And the owner is fantastic at communicating. Everything in Saugatuck is within walking distance, and several other towns are just a short drive away. We look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful Weekend
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning property and were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of our experience. Good Family Time
I’ll start this review with how nervous I was to cook and prepare large meals outside of my home. Alex’s house was a dream! Everything I needed or Could have needed was in the kitchen. The most well stocked rental I have ever been in. Being able to cook and prepare while my family was in the lovely dining room or living room was great( loved the floor plan). The teens enjoyed the spacious basement and the ping pong table was a massive hit.! We had a fabulous vacation and would rent the modern farmhouse again for sure!

Just the best!
This house had it all. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, linens, and they even provided plastic wrap and Ziploc bags, kids toys and games… The list goes on. It is so rare to find a Vrbo that has so many amenities included. There was no soap in the shower, but everything else was just amazing. An absolutely great house. Very close to town with plenty of sleeping options. We would love to come back.

Wonderful Home and Location
My family of 15 including children and grandchildren enjoyed staying in this wonderful home. It was perfect for our entire family and plenty large to spread out especially for the grandkids in the basement. The location couldn't be better. Great host. Looking forward to another trip to Saugatuck.
