Just minutes away from Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls, this secluded cabin is the perfect place to wind down from the day's activities in the relaxing hot tub out on the deck or watch the cable TV on the back screened-in porch. Enjoy wooded views from every window. You can also enjoy the inside wood-burning fireplace or use the outside fire pit to make some smores. The cabin is only a short drive from the unique shops, restaurants, and entertainment of Alpine Helen.

This adorable, bear-themed cabin is your ideal getaway in the woods away from the worries of the world!

• Sunburst Stables Cabin is accessed by a gravel and clay road. 

Portions of this road are steep and rutted, with many patches above the rest.  It is recommended that you plan arrival before nightfall as the signage to cabin is not illuminated.  GPS directions are not accurate.  Lower suspension vehicles are not advised. 
 
This property is Pet Friendly and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $150 and are non-refundable. This fee covers up to 2 dogs up to 50lbs. Please view  the Pet Policy below.  

PET POLICY
We have some properties that are designated "Pet Friendly''. This option is stated on the cabin profile and is possible with a non-refundable pet fee of $150.00. This fee covers up to two (2) pets with a MAX weight per pet of 50 lbs. In the event, Guest's party includes a dog, Guest shall register all dogs on the booking page at the time the Reservation is made to ensure that the rental property Guest is requesting is pet-friendly.

In addition, In the event evidence of a dog is found at a rental property that is not pet-friendly or the dog is not registered in the Reservation, Guest shall be assessed a minimum charge of $250. All dogs must be on a flea prevention program and are not allowed on furniture, on the blankets and/or any linens, in hot tubs or left unattended at the rental property. Guests agree that they will not use any linens or towels for their pets. If fleas are found inside the rental property upon Guest's departure, Guest shall be responsible for any and all fees incurred for extermination services.

If the rental property requires additional cleaning due to the dog, Guest shall be charged accordingly. Pets must be completely house broken and well behaved. Pets shall NOT be left uncrated while alone in cabin. If evidence of dog urine or feces is found in the rental property, a minimum of $250, together with the costs and expenses of additional cleaning services necessary to remove hair, odors and/or stains shall be charged to credit card on file.

Guest agree to pick up waste from the grounds and deposit in outside garbage cans. Guests are responsible for the actions of their pets and all damages that may arise from having a pet on the property. Cabin Rentals of Helen, managers, nor home owners assume any responsibility or liability for Guest(s) pets. 

Cabin Rentals of Helen does not allow any other type of animal, including cats.

Great Vacation Cabin

Easy to get to (most cabins are difficult on the drive off the main road but this was refreshingly easier to get to). Screened in Porch was a good touch.

Clean and comfortable destination!

Staying at this cabin made our 5 day vacation a success! The cabin has updated appliances and fixtures all in working order. The hot tub was clean and hot; There are three different locations to relax at: living room, screened in porch with chairs and a TV and an outdoor fire pit area with chairs. If back in the area to vacation we would definitely rent this location again!

Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

Everything from booking, checking in, our stay, and checking out was easy. The cabin was nice. It was a perfect way to spend our valentines weekend. Cozy and peaceful! I would highly recommend.

Peaceful retreat.

Great location for us to get away for the weekend and visit family nearby. We were originally supposed to stay at another place but the property management so kindly moved us to this beautiful location due to frozen pipes from inclement weather. We were so grateful! GiGi’s mountain house was spacious and very comfortable..Will definitely book our next visit with cabin rentals of Helen again!

Cabin location was perfect. The cabin was a little small and lacked storage (no closets) but was a good size for just the 2 of us (used the spare bedroom for our storage). Did have the smell of fireplace but that was not a problem gave it that campy feel. Could use a metal bucket to empty ashes from the fireplace though. Had all that we needed for our stay. Will use Cabin Rentals of Helen again.

A Cozy Family Cabin

It was exactly what we needed.

It was just me and my 2 kids (11 and 13yo) I knew we didn’t need a big place. This was 2Bed and 1 Bath. It was a little tight but we were there for only three nights and it was a great experience. My kids loved the hot tub, we sat at the fire pit every night. Grilled burgers. And it was 10mins from downtown Helen. The owners were so nice and welcoming and would definitely consider any of their rentals again. Thank you!

Fantastic Little Cabin

Spent a long weekend, while we may not have been in the cabin much for the weekend it was nice to stay in and call home for a little while. It's one that makes you wonder will they sell this place with all the decorations to me? Probably not. But will definitely recommend to others and already looking at staying at again.

Cozy Place for a short stay in the Georgia Mountains

Small well-kept cabin in the North Georgia mountains. Everything was efficiently handled via email and text. Close to numerous waterfalls and Helen, Georgia. Everything worked well and the property was clean and fully equipped. This is a great place for a short stay but might be a little cramped for 4 adults who plan to spend the majority of their in the cabin.

Peaceful & relaxing visit

Two adults & our dog really enjoyed our 10 day stay at this cabin. It was off a spur from the main road so any other cars didnt go right by our cabin. Although, on this “main” road, there were only 4 cabins so fairly quiet. There was a lot of trees, foliage, bushes & underbrush around so unless at night & the other cabins had on their outside lights, you couldnt see the other cabins-a definite plus. The cabin was clean, although the floors under the beds could have used a much better dust mopping. We had wanted to store our luggage & dufflebags under there. There was adequate utensils & silverware, glasses & plates & cooking equipment. We ate almost all our meals at the cabin & had no problem preparing our meals with what equipment was provided. There was plenty of hot water for showers & the AC was great, as it was very warm & humid while we were there. There was a ceiling fan in each bedroom, the living room & screened porch so that really helped also. We really enjoyed the screened porch & ate our meals out there & watched MLB games! We both thought the back bedroom mattress was not comfortable & had sore backs from it. Maybe time to consider replacing it? If you enjoy hiking, there are so many near by trails. There are 2 state parks & a national forest close by. Helen is an interesting town & worth a trip to town which is only a 10 minute drive from cabin. We would recommend this cabin & wouldnt hesitate to return. (hopefully with new mattresses though).

Our stay at your facility was wonderful it exceeded all expectations and was a wonderful visit. The only thing I would suggest is improving signage finding the entrance was a little difficult Google took us to the driveway next door.

Nature/Mother's Day Fishing Trip

Location of this small little home is wonderful! Do not come expecting to wash your clothes or to just throw the dishes in the dishwasher, because this home doesn't have either. Otherwise, it had two very comfortable queen beds and a very nice screened porch and fire pit. The cleaning crew could do a better job with the floors and in the nooks/crannies of the home. Their were cob webs in areas. Overall, we had a great time, but would not stay in this home again.

Long weekend getaway

Nice place, clean ! close to town I hope to stay there again the only small problem was that the hot tub had 2 jets out & no dishwasher otherwise great place .
