All the exterior doors are very dirty and need a good cleaning, the screen on back porch could be cleaned, the hot tube on back deck is missing parts, the tub/shower in the bathroom has chunks missing out of the finish that need repaired.

Great little cabin!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and it was a great place for us and our pup to relax. It had all the amenities that we needed. It was in close proximity to Helen and hiking. The neighborhood has several cabins in the area but we did not feel like they were on top of us. The hole in the drive that others pointed out has been patched. Our one issue was the screen on the fireplace. It really needs to be replaced as it is not safe. The screen will not close completely to avoid any sparks flying out. The dresser in the bedroom needs to be replaced as well as two of the three drawers are broken. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet Stay
The cabin was cozy and in the woods, no "views" so don't expect it from the porch. We enjoyed grilling out, watching tv, relaxing and going into Helen to shop. If you have a dog that needs to be walked - watch out for bears. This particular cabin has a paved very steep drive with a huge crater on the left side so stay to the right going down. There is a gravel road also - was muddy so we avoided it. Indoor jacuzzi tub was nice, worked well. Good shower - great water pressure Outdoor hot tub was good, is noisy when it cycles. Hint - circuit breaker in the closet if it gets to annoying.

The property was definately for only 2 people. Shower was very cramped. Property needs some TLC. Microwave door was broken, table has some sort of grease stains on it, dishwasher was empty but very dirty, tons of cobwebs everywhere, top blanket of bed smelled like it hadn't been washed in a while. The bedding was clean and place was cute and quiet. Just needs some TLC.

Nice place except parking area
The cabin was clean and quiet. The main issue was the crater in the parking area. If you dont have a truck I wouldn't recommend staying there until it's fixed. Also need a tall person to adjust the temp on the ac/heat unit.

Great cabin BUT....
The cabin although older had a nice homely feel to it. The overall cleanliness was not so good though. Ceiling fans,windows and fake plants were covered in dust and cobwebs. Dog hair was on all flat surfaces . The bed was also old and the mattress has seen its better days. The fireplace and hot tub were great though. The paved driveway has a big hole so use caution and the dirt drive has a wash out in it also. The overall stay was ok and we made it work for us.

Very clean and enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen not very well stocked, especially silverware (only 2 table knives). Very comfortable bed. It would be nice to have a nice dresser in which to store clothes, storage inadequate. The one there is really inadequate. Would be nice to have a larger table. Had a problem with the heater and it was promptly taken care of.

I took a vacation by myself and absolutely enjoyed myself. The cabin was clean and spacious. I love the easy and convenient hot tub covering (normally they are big and heavy).. It was easy to put on and take off. I got to the cabin fine, but If your not looking you'll miss the sign. Make sure to hit the grocery store because I didn't pass and stores or restaurants.. However, this was a great experience and would love to book again.

Great location and cozy stay in the mountains
Our stay at the Angler's Haven was an overall pleasant stay as we wanted a cozy place to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday for a long 4-day weekend. Being that we had our dog with us, this place was perfectly located within a 10min drive into the city and a 5 min drive to Unicoi State Park, so we felt comfortable with the convenient location. The cabin was tucked nicely off on its own so we enjoyed the privacy. The cabin was well appointed with everything you would need for a short stay for 2 people and a dog. The hot tub was definitely well used and it was something we looked forward to enjoying each night. Like some other person's review, the hot tub did make a lot of noise as it turned on and off throughout the night but I got used to it. Since it was basically an open concept suite, we appreciated the turntable for the tv so we could watch it on the couch or in the comfort of the bedroom. All and all, it was a great stay, but I do want to point out some minor cons. Con #1: Since I'm a daily coffee drinker (and my partner isn't), it would have been nice to have a more up-to-date Keurig to make a single or 2 cups of coffee, but I planned to make do with the regular coffee maker that was provided. Unfortunately, it seemed to be in cleaning mode the time I was there. Not sure if that was operator error, but it was a little annoyance not to have coffee in the morning. Con #2: There was a fairly large hole in the screen of the screened-in porch near the hot tub. Since we had a large dog with us, it was a concern that she could get out, but we blocked it with a piece of our luggage before we left the cabin each day. Con #3, although I was prepared to bring my toiletries, it would have been nice to have multiple bottles of shampoo/conditioner or lotion. We just had 1 small bottle of shampoo and conditioner for two people and since my bf likes to sleep on the couch sometimes, it would have been great to have an extra blanket beyond the bedspread on the bed.

Helen trip.
Loved the cabin and location. Nice and quiet. Close the Unicoi State Park and Helen. Enjoyed daily outings to attractions, and ventured to Dahlonega for lunch and a trip to Lake Burton. Cabin was the perfect size for us and our dog. The driveway to our cabin was very steep - thank goodness for 4 wheel drive! The driveway itself had a huge pothole which made navigating the parking pad a challenge.

Cozy cabin located very close to Helen. It was perfect for us two and our dog. All 3 of us loved every second of it and felt safe/comfortable and plan on returning! .
