Beware of squirrels

Weekend stay
Our stay in the cabin was great. I would have given the cabin 5 stars except the cabin stays very cold inbthe living area a kitchen but too hot in the bedrooms to sleep. The beds were very too hard to sleep. Also if someone is upstairs playing pooling and you're downstairs trying to sleep, you can hear every little noise from upstairs.

Great getaway
The leaves are at peak this week (late October) and we have enjoyed watching them fall all around us in the living room from the large windows. We felt very safe here. The beds were comfortable and we found the cabin very spacious! We enjoyed having our own bathroom and deep closet - it made life much easier with an infant sleeping in a pack n' play. Our 4 year old loved playing with his trucks upstairs while grown ups had quiet time downstairs. The water pressure was actually a bit high in the showers, but not sure you can do much about that? Our only other complaints are that we found a pair of tennis shoes from previous guests and a dog treat under one of the beds and two of the kitchen table chairs have wobbly legs on the front right leg. Otherwise, The furniture was comfortable and looked new. You can't tell this is a "dog friendly" cabin with how clean everything was, including the carpets, linens, and blankets. The hot tub was fantastic - clean, hot, and relaxing. The screened in porch ensured no bugs. We enjoyed it daily! We grilled steaks and potatoes one night and found the grill clean and easy to use. Overall, a great experience! We hope to rent again - thank you!

Not good
Cabin was beautiful but the name of it was very misleading. Majestic View was wrong. Just a lot of trees. I drove 8 hours to be in the mountains with a view but was not happy. The first night was quite chilly inside. The floor was uneven and some tiles were loose. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I cant see how anyone would want to drive over the potholes and rocks to get to this place. The only thing that I enjoyed was watching television.

Weekend getaway with friends
It was a beautiful home, but does need some upgrading in floors and furniture. Wobbly chairs. You can tell everything has been well used. To get to the house is a little scary with all of the hills but I suppose that’s what you get in the mountains definitely would not be easy to get to if it was bad weather or what concerned is if we had an emergency and call 911 if they would be able to. Overall, we enjoyed our trip. We enjoyed the time in the cabin. The view is not all that good but it is the mountains. We enjoyed the getaway. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay very responsive if we had questions on the TV and so forth very prompt. Don’t answer our questions. Thank you.

Property review
The location was exactly what we had in mind and loved the peacefulness of the area. The house was older and definitely could use some updates as far as the deck screening but honestly when I book a cabin in the woods I don’t expect a 5 star hotel. I loved it, had everything we needed, and was happy to accommodate our dogs on our family vacation. So I would 100% come back, and recommend to friends looking for a similar experience.

It was alright
The cabin was cute, but there’s nothing majestic about the view! Just trees. We were very bummed about that. False advertising. There were a few small scorpions in the house, but we expected seeing bugs considering the cabin is in the woods. The furniture is old/frail, we had to be very careful not to break anything. Lastly, I was disappointed they had no coffee at all. Every place we ever stayed at, they offered a little coffee until we could go buy some ourselves. However, the area is beautiful. Lots of things to do.

Absolutely awesome property! So nice and spacious. Was very clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table, and just sitting in the screened in porch relaxing, and walking outside in the leaves. Great location by Helen and Cleveland. Would recommend!

hot tub did not work
property was very clean, we had trouble with the hot tub. hot tub was a top priority with our trip. staying in and enjoying relaxing weekend. we reported it as soon as we arrived, I guest I was texting a machine because they were always checking with local staff. we contacted them again several times Friday and Sat. just decided to come home a day early.

The picture's do not match the property.
Enjoyed our stay 1/2 of the time. The property was nice however the pictures are misleading. It seemed like it was once loved but not so much now. No rocking chairs, the comforters were not nice like the photos, Hot tub wasn't working and was stinky. Dirty windows, no screens, Couches (not the ones shown) & not very cozy. One nice outdoor table with four chairs with a few random bar chairs. Loved the grill. Pool table was fun and we enjoyed the loft but you can tell the property hasn't had a lot of love.
