The staff was really nice. But the check in bad not because of the staff because of the reservation coming from hotels.com they make you wait for your room even if they have it available.

Had a great stay! Close to everything downtown. Clean and chic hotel. Customer Service was great! If you want to use their valet, you may get a better deal reserving that online through this app with your stay compared to paying onsite. Parking garage right next to it was inexpensive for the weekend though, so we used that & the street parking to park for free when the garage was full. Either way you’re taking a risk with those options. 😅

Front desk provide misleading information.
Front desk clerks provide misleading information. Our room was not ready by check in and they said they will call us which they never did. In addition, they mentioned oarking was complimentary but we got charged after checkout, clerk at that time wasnt sure why that was promised and they werent sure who was the person who said it. They did not resolved my issue despite letting them know there were no other parking options offered and therefore charged.

It’s within all the nice historical site and square of historical Savannah. And most important it’s within walking distance of all the restaurants and bars. The Holiday Inn was clean and had great services.

We stayed for 2 nights weekend before Christmas and loved it. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Add Valet parking to reservation for convenience. Location was awesome for accessing trolley and the Riverwalk, also plenty of food and shopping close by. We will defintely stay here on out next visit to Savannah!

Convenient location for us. Rooms are normally clean and area is as safe as Savannah can be. Breakfast is standard hotel stuff. I eat it for a snack just to hold me before lunch. Go to Bay St Blues for fun entertainment and Treylor Park for food close by.

Good hotel but had some staffing issues
The hotel is in a great location and is clean and comfortable. We stayed for a couple days after Christmas and enjoyed the hotel, but there were not enough staff to effectively provide breakfast to the guests in the morning. There were lines of people at times waiting for eggs, pancakes, coffee, etc., - occasionally several food items were gone and everyone was waiting for more food to be brought out. I asked one of the staff about it and they said it had been like that for the last 4 days and there weren't enough workers scheduled, and they had to rush out to the grocery store to buy more food at least once. The hotel management knew how many guests were staying each night, so looks like poor planning to handle the number of guests during the holiday week.

Nicest holiday Inn express I have stayed. Staff was excellent and welcoming throughout stay. Shout out to the front desk and the nice ladies helping in the breakfast area. Great location, walkable.
