Kokemus kaikki Savannah on tarjota tässä tyylikkäässä studio-huoneistossa. Vain muutaman askeleen päässä Crawfordin aukiolta sijaitseva Perry Lane Carriage House sopii erinomaisesti matkailijoille, jotka haluavat löytää kaupungin sydämen ilman hyvää yötä.

Quaint little place in Savannah

This was the perfect place for us to stay, get ready, and sleep since we wanted to sightsee and explore the rest of our time. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is some small minor fixes. Many of the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work, and the view off the little patio was very obstructed due to a tree but also provided privacy. The bathtub and shower were very old and cute and was fine for us but be careful getting in and out. Overall, it was a great, affordable place to stay and was fine for us since we didn’t spend much time in the room.

If you are arriving at night, it was a little difficult to see the address, but this is trivial. It was a quiet space, pretty central to what Savanah has to offer. About a 15-minute walk to the River St., location is straight down from the Waving Girl Statue. Nice and cozy, perfect for two people.

Great Location

The location was great, and it was very clean. But it was difficult to get a good night of sleep given the state of the bed and pillows. I think if there was a bed and pillow upgrade it would be a truly perfect place! Bed wasn’t great but not terrible, but the pillows were truly terrible.

Overall, it's a good property, but it's not quite a 5-star due to some comfort issues. First, the bed has a clunky cover over the mattress, making it uneven and uncomfortable to sleep on. Secondly, the bathroom has a nice tub, but it's not designed for a shower curtain, so the curtain keeps touching you while you shower, and it stays inside the tub to prevent water from getting out. Lastly, and not too big of an issue, but with 3 remote controls it would be nice to have some directions to help getting the TV going. Great area and location, nice neighborhood and safe.

Great location but…

Overall the place was fine. However upon arrival we found a dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door. There was a power outage on our second night that left us in total darkness. No flashlight on the premises and when we called the management office they informed us that it would be 1 1/2 hours before they could possibly help us. Overall our stay was fine. I just wish they could have been more help with the power outage and the dirty towel was kind of gross.

Quaint carriage house

This studio is charming, comfortable and somewhat conveniently located, though I suggest an Uber to Riverfront. One suggestion, the front gate gets stuck. For a minute (a few) I was trapped in the entry, might get that looked at. And some nice wine glasses and mugs would do a lot to upgrade the experience. But for a quick trip it suited my needs. Safe area.

Convenient and comfortable

The stay was very comfortable and I appreciated the cleanliness. We walked everywhere due to the convenience. The access to the patio advertised was locked and that was disappointing, but we found plenty to keep us busy. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Beautiful space and spot!

It was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay on our trip to Savannah! Perfect amount of room for two people and amenities were great. We were able to walk almost everywhere and we enjoyed the charm of the studio and it’s surrounding area.

Our Stay

Very cute and cozy but plenty of space. Clean and comfortable. The only thing I can say is I think the thermostat was set on a timer. I would set the temperature to it was comfortable and it would go down to 64. I am a Florida girl and that’s way too cold. Overall had good experience. Good location picked up the trolley two blocks away. That brought you right into the heart of downtown. I would recommend this place.

Perfect for honeymoon!

This precious little apartment was PERFECT for our little honeymoon!! We stayed from Sunday to Friday and we had a BLAST! A couple things though! 1. If you’re not used to the city, the numbers on the door were pretty confusing. They were on the inside of the iron gate and in the dark (with inside lights off) it was hard to find. Once we found it tho we had no other issues! 2. This apartment does have two balconies, very close to the neighbors behind. The guy right across wasn’t very friendly, (not sure if he lives there or renting) but the people beside him who spoke were very friendly, although they’re place was also a rental, haha. 3. Also be careful of the shower. We made a huge mess trying to figure it out😂 Anyways! Overall great place! Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway or a single trip. I wouldn’t suggest it for a family place.

Great location, great service.

Although a bit confusing due to signage, our Carriage House experience was awesome! There was a housekeeping snag at the beginning, but they worked it out to our benefit. It was quaint, fully functional and within walking distance of practically everything. 5Stars

Property was beautiful, listing incorrect

The property was great! Awesome location. Well furnished. … listing said non-metered parking. This unit has free, on street parking at front door (I screenshotted the ad). There were dirty towels hanging from the rail and waded in the corner of the balcony, dirty socks under the bed, and no WIFI (listing gave an either/or network and password… tried searching for the network but it wasn’t there). I called the non emergency number about the parking before I even got into the property and she tired very hard to help me but didn’t have any answers. I didn’t even bother to call about the other problems. Luck Savannah left a terrible impression

Blood on the light switch

Let’s just start with with is my first Vrbo experience and it was some what easy but then finding this one was difficult. After calling the property manager to figure out the correct location she informed me I had to unlock the gate for just wrapping my hand around the back. I didn’t feel safe with that option when the hole block had security cameras for break-ins. It was to bad they didn’t have another key pad to open the gate or even just a key. We even had a strange visitor banging on the front door and trying to open the door via the electronic lock. Tho it was just another Vrbo guest trying to find another rental . It was scary and concerning because the door it self didn’t close fully it locks into the wall of the house, right into the stucco…. no door jam!! As you walk up stairs great no biggie but then you look closely at the room it looks like there wasn’t any cleaning from the last renter with used towels on the balcony as well as the blood on the light switch!!! Gross!!! Then we come to the shower with zero water presser from the main shower head which was a huge down fall. The hand held nozzle was great but nowhere to put it. Also the wifi didn’t work at all for us. Over all I had a great trip to Savannah but wish I picked better combinations for being my first Vrbo

Cute little apartment

Very clean and nicely decorated studio apartment. Really enjoyed this little spot. Our only issues were that there is no TV service to speak of. Just wanted local channels to check news. WiFi directions were not too great but got clarification from the main number for another option. We would definitely stay here again!

Great for a short stay

If you are planning on staying for a SHORT weekend, this place is cute. The location is nice and we were able to walk to most places without being completely exhausted by the time we got there. The entrance is a little confusing at first, being that it's in an alley way where there are garages, but as long as you're on Perry Lane and not Street, you can't miss it. The first morning we were there, my girlfriend tried to make coffee and it started leaking; turns out the pot was cracked. After calling for a replacement, the response time was very quick. They showed up with a new one in less than 15 minutes, so that was cool. NEGATIVES/TIPS FOR YOUR STAY: ~Pack LIGHT, trying to get up those stairs with our luggage was a pain. ~Bring your own hangers, there were only 6 in the closet. ~Taking a shower is VERY inconvenient. Although, the old style tub and shower head may be aesthetically pleasing, it is not practical, whatsoever. It is very small and you can't move very much without sticking to the shower curtain. Water gets all over the floor and then you waste towels trying to use it as a rug, being that there isn't one. Trying to use the shower head and the attached wand is a science. Don't expect to take long hot showers, as the hot water runs out very quickly. My girlfriend ended up taking a cold shower our first night. ~Storage is mediocre. The drawers provided are loose/falling apart. I had to fold all the clothes that we couldn't hang up, due to the lack of hangers, and put them on the shelves in the closet. They do have wicker drawers on either side of the bed, but there's not very much you can fit in them. ~Bring your own trash bags; the ones provided are super thin and ripped easily. ~Wifi DOES NOT work. So, if you don't have unlimited data, expect to get overage charges. ~DO NOT expect free parking for this property. The listing states that there is both metered and non-metered parking; however, that was not the case. There is ONLY metered parking. It IS close and always available. Download the Park Savannah app so you can just pay thorough your phone and not have to walk down there every time. Save your confirmation emails because we STILL got a ticket after paying through the app. Make sure you're up by 8 o'clock every morning to reload the meter. Overall, this property is a great stay for the price and we really did enjoy ourselves. A little touching-up here and there couldn't hurt, though.

I might never go back to a hotel!

We loved this second story walk-up quaint nicely decorated charming apartment w/gorgeous hardwood floors and high ceilings. It's truly the perfect space for two with storage galore. The kitchen seemed well stocked, however we only used refrigerator, microwave and toaster. The bathroom w/back and white tiles and free standing tub added a timeless feeling. The overhead shower just barely worked but there is a hand wand which worked fine. Towels were good quality and soft. Queen mattress was just ok, linens were clean and pillows were in very good shape. The A/C worked great. There's a handy walk-in closet with shelving and about 6 hangers on a bar over clothes hamper. We liked opening 2 balcony doors however one near bed has soft plywood floor that we decided not to stand on. Price was ok based in size and location. If we come back to Savannah we will definitely stay here again!
