This beautifully renovated historic home originally built in 1875 and updated in 2016. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath first-floor apartment is located across the street from the south end of Forsyth Park and offers classic charm in an urban setting. The living area has great views of the park, comfortable seating, a large flatscreen TV, and a decorative fireplace.

The fully equipped kitchen is newly updated and includes a dining area with seating for 6-8. The primary bedroom features a Queen sized bed, TV, decorative fireplace, and an attached full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The 1st Guestroom features a King bed and TV. The 2nd guest room features a Queen bed and TV. There is an additional full bathroom off the living room with a walk-in shower. Throughout the apartment, you will find: new mattresses, beautiful and stylish furniture, and accessories, new paint, refinished floors, high ceilings, and much more!

There are an in-unit washer and dryer for guest convenience along with central air/heat and wireless internet. This home has a shared entryway and shared front porch from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Forsyth Park.

Note: Fireplaces are sealed and non-working, but they add to the ambiance. No off-street parking is available. Street parking is free in this neighborhood. Street parking is free in this neighborhood. This home is separated from the park by Drayton Street which is a well-traveled one-way road with a speed limit of 35, there may be street noise.

Guests can walk or bike to many nearby amenities including Forsyth Park: Many events are held at the park throughout the year. It is a great choice for picnics, outdoor sports, walking, and jogging. Just across the street are the free tennis courts! This is also where you will find the famous Forsyth fountain and is a popular spot for weddings in Savannah. Also, the Forsyth Farmer’s Market is a great early Saturday morning event to attend.

Dining: Fine dining or cocktails at The Mansion on Forsyth Park is located about 2.5 blocks away. Around the corner, you can find Brighter Day Natural Foods along with The Sentient Bean Coffee Shop. Local 11 Ten is another great dining option nearby.

Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was conveniently located near a coffee and other shops and directly across the street from the park. Parking was very convenient as well. The house was modernized without losing its charm and roomy for three adults.

Perfect Visit to Explore Savannah and with a view

While visiting Savannah and SCAD we throoughly enjoyed visiting and view of Forsyth Park, walking the very walkable city. Near great restaurants, Cathedral, cafes and shopping. We explored by foot, bike and trolley and had an amazing time! Our location was great to walk or do a quick ride and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the front patio. Thank you!!

Perfect location

The property was a perfect location. An easy 1.5 mile walk to the river. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops along the way. The living room could use some paint in the walls but overall the property was beautiful and had lots of character.

Great Location

Great Location. Great customer support. We really enjoyed our stay. Be aware that there is no back yard. I didn't see a grill (it could have been in the locked outside closet?) While there are no dedicated parking spaces, there is plenty of parking on the nearby streets. I rarely had to walk more than a block or 2 to park - even during the farmers market on Saturday.

Perfect Savannah location

Location perfect, right on Forsythe Park. 3 generations met and a wonderful holiday weekend. House recently painted and very clean. We stay in many vrbo and I know how to read between the lines. So when it says 0 parking spaces, it means good luck finding a spot. So parking was a bummer for the 3 drivers but not unexpected. Sleeps 8, but 2 towel bars. Couch is sleeper sofa and horrible to sit on for over 15 min. A great vrbo has tissues, mirrors in the bedrooms and some kitchen supplies. We always leave food or condiments or spices, this place had salt and pepper. Mgmt does not to throw out during the clean out. 4 digit Roku code was left out of TV directions. And exterior door code left off welcome email. Got call back in 15 min but could have been avoided. Grill listed but not present. Kitchen table had bench and 3 stools, not ideal. We loved Savannah and appreciated the ideal location of this rental.

Amazing location and property.

The neighbor was located near a Old Town Trolley stop. It was fun watching all the events and people at Forsyth Park. The location was clean and safe. We stayed on the bottom floor of the rental which was easy for my 65 year old mother and 67 year old aunt to use. The place had a lot of space, tons of linens and toiletries. There were also places to eat nearby.

Historic Savannah home

Pros: The property is just as pictured and very close to a trolley stop, gas station, food mart, wine store and restaurants. All bedrooms do have fans. We were able to easily find close street parking during our stay. The historic finishes are exactly what we were looking for and really felt fully immersed in the Savannah experience. Cons: The AC is regulated and 70 is nowhere near cool enough after being out in the Savannah summer heat. We had a smoke detector start beeping due to low battery one evening and nobody called us back during after hours. Normally an easy fix, but with 12 foot ceilings and no ladder it was quite difficult and dangerous to find furniture sturdy enough and tall enough to climb up and take it down.

Perfect Spot

Couldn't ask for a better location. Right in front of Forsythe Park in walking distance to everything. We didn't touch the car once during our stay. I would recommend this to anyone and look forward to going back.

The property is on a GREAT location, right off Forsyth park. The property became available earlier than 4pm check in and gave us a one hour extension for check out. The positive things I can say end there. We were staying Friday -Sunday and their offices are apparently closed on the weekends. I guess that gives us a window 4pm-5pm on Friday to call the office if there are any issues. I messaged them on Saturday via the VRBO app because my friend said the shower and sink in her room were clogging up and not draining properly. They never responded to my message. When I dug through my emails and found their check out process, I tried calling their contact number that was an automated message about how they are closed on the weekends and to only call for emergencies. The message also said that if we call for something that’s not an emergency, we would be charged. We decided to leave it alone and instead have all 6 of us use the other bathroom (which contributed to us needing to check out later). When I messaged afterwards about a partial discount, they claimed that they never got my message and that their offices were open 7 days a week and basically blamed me. I would provide screenshots of my messages and emails and call logs if this review allowed for it. Lastly, the wifi sucked and the ironing board is completely warped and broken and hanging off of a holder in the wall that is falling out of the drywall. Overall, I’m disappointed with the service. Next time I will go with an attentive host as opposed to a neglectful property management company.

Basic things like check-in and Wi-Fi were not posted anywhere in the app or in the unit.

Basic things like Wi-Fi information or checking in, lock code, we’re not readily available in VRBO app or inside of the unit. I understand it’s run by a separate company, but it’s very inconvenient when all they do is point you to a phone number or another website or another app to access basic things like that. Not only that, but when we were finally able to get the Wi-Fi password (by downloading another app that they hinted at in very small text on a postcard) , the Internet still did not work. We messaged them multiple times in the app, followed all of the poor instructions, I left a voicemail, and it wasn’t until more than halfway through our stay, we received a voicemail about calling the maintenance person to check it out. Unfortunately this is too late and too inconvenient. Afterwords I called to see if there would be a resolution, and they have ghosted me since then, it’s been a week now... I do not recommend this property to others for this reason.

House is a little dated - carpets worn, paint needs a refresh and outside area a little sketchy ( front porch furniture was chained down) but overall enjoyed the location, space and alternative to hotel experience. Not great but definitely not bad for the money.

Girls Trip

The entire experience was great. I struggled at first to get through the first door and called the property company and got ahold of someone quickly to help me. They are secure and thorough in making sure you are really the correct person. Area seemed safe. Super close to Kroger and the big Forsyth Park. Quick uber to downtown. It was a perfect place for a girls getaway!

Great Family Getaway

This property is really nice. It was perfect for our family, which included a toddler. Very clean and organized. The location across from a nice park was great. Parking was easy with ample options on surrounding streets and the parking lot at the park. Overall, very impressed!

The Cutest House

This was the cutest house! We were literally across the street from Forsyth Park, there is no parking at the property, so we parked in the parking lot at the park (across the street and I could see my car from the window). There were 5 of us and the space was the perfect size. The rental was clean and updated. It is split into two rentals, you share a common entryway and there is a staircase to the second rental upstairs. We didn't realize that until we got there, but it wasn't a big deal.
