Just 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which dramatically clings to a rocky outcrop. Seahouses in Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour is a great spot for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. It’s 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally.
