Very dated hotel. Not 4 Star

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was quick and they helped to carry the bags to/from the room.
Cons: Maintenance and upkeep with some renovation to the rooms.
Location: Near the beach.
Unfortunately the hotel has not really been maintained very well. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, but the room was a disappointment. There were many steps and trip hazards on the way to the room. There were dozens of flies outside which needed to be sprayed. The room was very basic and dated, as was the bathroom, with poor lighting and fly mesh to the service area out back. Breakfast was not up to the standard of previous hotels. There was a free mini bar with a can of beer and 3 fizzy soft drinks and also a good selection of TV Channels and good picture quality, for the limited time I flicked through them, at least. The pool didn't look very clean, but we didn't want to go in to try. Location was great for the beach, just a short walk and it was good as a single night stop off en-route from Gili to Lombok Airport, but I would think that it was more like a 2-3 star hotel. I can imagine when it first opened it was very nice. We also popped over the road and ate at a name brand hotel, which also seemed tired and worn, so perhaps it is just the way.

Nice hotel

Pros: Location, cleanliness, comfort, value for money
Cons: Food and wifi
This is a nice hotel close to the Sheraton and the Art Market. Rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds, a/c and a good sized bathroom. There is a good selection of cable TV but wifi connection is poor. The food in the restaurant is limited and breakfast is at best average. But for the money, this is a good hotel in a great location in Senggigi.
