This is an expensive three-star hotel, and if you care about hardware design, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Cons:
- Small Rooms: The triple room is cramped; there’s barely any space to move around with three suitcases open.
- Cleanliness Issues: Found some trash on the floor when I checked in.
- Crowded Breakfast: Breakfast ends at 9:30 AM, but it’s so crowded that finding a seat is nearly impossible. Many guests taking their food to go.
- Laundry Inconveniences: The washing machine works fine, but the dryer takes two cycles to dry clothes, wasting time.
- High Cost: Over $300 per night, and that’s the cheapest room available.
- Hidden Entrance: The entrance is hard to find, located at a side door of the mall with no clear signs.
- Poor Bathroom Design: The shared door between the toilet and shower leads to water leaking into the room, making it difficult to shower properly.
- Bad A/C Placement: The air conditioner blows directly on the bed, which is poorly designed.
Pros:
- Great Location: Located above the AZ Plaza mall, with direct access to the subway station.
- Friendly Staff: The staff is polite and tries to resolve any issues.
- Thoughtful Service: We asked for extra water, and the housekeeping staff provided more every day.
Conclusion:
Next time, I’d rather pay an extra $100 to stay at RYSE or L7, where the hardware design is better.
