Excellent Location and Reasonable Price
The hotel is located next to subway station (within a 5-minute walk), with a lot of different types of restaurants nearby. Convenient store is just opposite to the hotel entrance. The room is located on the fifth floor, but there is no lift/elevator available, maybe a bit harsh for those with heavy luggage. However, the room is more spacious than expected and considered to be clean and tidy. The room comes with a private bath room and toilet, also spacious and clean, but the water pressure is not high enough in my opinion (at least for the room I stayed).

Great location, but uncomfteble
Staff seemt like they dident care about the guest, the room was very small and the bed was very uncomfteble, and out of 5 days i only got clean sheets 2 days. The location was exceptionaly good!

No room cleaning
We stayed for 6 nights and was told they will clean the room every 3 days. On the 3rd day, we remind them on the room cleaning and found out that they only help us to dump the garbage. The rest was not done, the bed sheet was not changed on our entire stay. We have to bring our used towel to exchange for a fresh one and I was told that they have limited supply of towels n I was given 2 small pieces of towel.

Decent hotel close to Metro Station DDP
1) Poorly maintained air conditioning unit with dirt coming out onto my bed. 2) No bath towel available for changing, face towel was provided instead. 3) Staffs was not friendly and helpful. 4) No room service for 5 nights stay at all. 5) Room was extremely compact (small). 6) Room/bed was not acceptably clean, bedsheets has stains.

good location to stay.
Location was good as near Subway, and plenty of shopping and eating places. Our flight was delayed so arrived past midnight, was glad they left a note for us so we could enter. Room was comfortable and clean but we only used it for sleeping as so much to do in Seoul. And you could still do shopping and eating past midnight. Really love the location.

superb location
postive experience. the location of the hostel is right at the exit of the traine station. shopping malls are right across the street and many korean bbq restaurant at the doorstep of the hostel. however the down side is that there are no lift in the hostel ao u have got to climb up the hostel. it will be bad if you are allocated to the 5th storey.

Hotsel for Shopping Lovers
The hostel is located right next to the shopping area of Dongdaemun. It will be a perfect place for you if you like to shop till midnight. However, this hostel has no lift, so you need to climb up and down with your shopping goods or luggage.

Accessible location with reasonably cheap rate
Stayed there for two nights. The rate is unexpectedly cheap with comfortable bedroom amenities. The walk-in rate isn't expensive actually but I couldn't reserve it for the second night online and the friendly staff suggested me do the on-the-scene payment instead. Breakfast is included. The only problem is the power strip is put upright on the wall and the power strip surface isn't flat, so my universal socket couldn't stand still to get power supply.

Home away from home
As seniors showing up at midnight (due to a late flight) with two 19Kg luggage, we were initially concerned with the absence of an elevator. Then our wonderful host (Andy) whisked those up to our 4/F room.....and did likewise on the day we left. The room is well equipped and the location is hard to beat for shopping Dundaemon. Andy even helped me to locate a local clinic nearby to take care of my cough. Philstay is truly a home away from home!

Decent hostel for the price
Capsule style beds. Basic breakfast. Nice location. A bit reserved and somewhat helpful staff. I stayed there for 3 nights in a 6 bed dorm. The on-suite toilet and the bedroom hasn't been cleaned even once for my entire stay. I can tell this from the full and unchanged trash can in the toilet.

きれいに保っているゲストハウスだと思いました。東大門の夜活には良い立地ですね。マスクショップ やNPHなども徒歩圏内です。口コミ通りシャワーの温度調整が難しくヘッドを上へ上げると水、下げるとお湯になりますが、SPAも近いので、そちらへ行けば良いかと。また利用します。
