Villa Castellani di Sermeti

The villa lies in the village of Sermide, a tranquil spot about 52 kms from Mantova, in the nature reserve along the river Po. This is an ideal place for reaching in at the most an hour by car cities such as Verona, Padova, Ferrara, Bologna and, in an hour and a half, Venice, Lake Garda and Ravenna. A tour such as this is also interesting for the opportunity of trying the specialities of the cuisine and the wines of three different italian regions, all of which have different characteristics but are united by their excellence. The villa is furnished with pieces from the 1800s and is equipped with air-conditioning in all bedrooms, satellite TV, PC with internet connection, dishwasher and washing-machine, CD player and DVD, barbecue, covered parking for 2 cars, and guests are also offered a GPS satellite navigation system. The large italian garden is very well maintained, and full of tall trees.
The elegant atmosphere of the villa and the wonderful garden are often chosen by couples from all over the world to celebrate their wedding.
On the side of the orchard guests have the use of the private (4x9m) swimming-pool, and in the same area there is a small outhouse with dressing-room, bathroom and external shower. The wardens live in a separate and completely independant building. The attractive village is just a short walk away (150 metres) and you will find bars, restaurants, food shops, banks and a post office. Along the river Po (about 500 metres from the villa) you can go for long walks in a natural setting with river-side vegetation and several species of water-birds.

GROUND FLOOR: large entrance salon of 60 sq.m. and from here to the left you come to two living-rooms with satellite TV with DVD player and stereo with CD player, small library with books in english and a piano, on the right you come to the dining-room and to the kitchen with dishwasher and oven, on this side there is also an internet access point and two bathrooms, of which one has a shower.

FIRST FLOOR: 5 double bedrooms (some of them can be transformed into twins) and 3 bathrooms with shower.

All bedrooms have air-conditioning.
