The Grandest of Grandviews on 7 Mile Beach! 2nd floor 2 bed-2 bath beachfront!

The Grandest of views from this second floor, beach front, corner unit with views of the ocean and Grandview pool. Unit was recently renovated with new furniture throughout. The complex is walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Kitchen has everything you need to cook or use one of the two on-site BBQ grills. Cooler is in the unit to bring food and drinks to the beach. Family friendly unit and complex.

While certain properties on Seven Mile Beach have experienced beach erosion over the last couple of years, our property's beach is protected by ironshore which limits erosion. We have not experienced the erosion that other properties have and have a great sandy beach with plenty of beach chairs and natural shade from trees for your enjoyment. Easy access to swim or play in the the ocean from the sandy cove on the right side (looking towards the ocean) of the complex. The complex has 69 units for which around 20 of the units are used for vacation rentals and the rest are used by owners or long-term renters for people who live in Cayman year-round. As such, guests typically have no issues accessing chairs/loungers on the beach or pool deck as the majority of units are used by people that live in the complex and therefore do not use the pool and beach as often as visitors on vacation would. There should not be a need to claim your beach chair for the day as you may feel you need to at other resorts.

As parents to a young toddler we know the struggles in finding appropriate sleeping arrangements for very young children. With this in mind we have 3 options available for young children to sleep in:

When booking please let us know which of these options you would like available and we will ensure they are in the unit for your arrival. We also have 2 highchairs available.

Currently only accepting bookings with check-in and check-out on Saturdays. If you are looking to book where either your check-in or check-out date would not be on a Saturday, please send me a booking request for your dates and we can see what can be done to accommodate your request. Depending upon the number of nights requested we may be able to accommodate with a higher average rate per night of your stay compared to the current advertised rates. We may have more flexibility for these requests depending on the time of year and requested length of stay (e.g. outside of peak season and for 11 days or more).

Bathroom and beach towels are included with the rental. The unit includes a washer and dryer with laundry detergent to be used for laundry during the stay.

There is no house keeping services included in the rental as the unit will be cleaned before and after each guest visit. The unit is on the second floor and there are no elevators at the Grandview.

Wonderful Cayman Holiday

My husband, daughter and I traveled to Grand Cayman for her senior spring break during the week of March 15, 2025. We had a wonderful week, and absolutely loved our stay at The Grandview. This was by far one of the best VRBO experiences we've ever had. Rod's place is absolutely lovely. It is located right on the water, has a lovely beach, great pool (and hot tub), and is in an area of Georgetown close to restaurants as well as the downtown area. It is beautifully updated, warmly decorated and spacious. We loved our week there. The condo complex itself has everything you need -- numerous lounge chairs for the beach and the pool. It also has a tennis court, pickleball court, and grills available. In addition, Rod has all kinds of personal touches that make it so easy for the traveler. From an arrival bottle of wine, snacks, great beach towels, tennis racquets and pickleball paddles, we had everything we needed for the week. Rod also had laundry detergent and extra sunscreen available. It made our trip so easy. Rod was incredibly responsive as we booked our trip, during the days before we arrived, and met us as we arrived to give us a tour of the condo. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and helped us navigate the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this unit to anyone visiting the Cayman Islands.

Amazing Experience!

What an amazing stay with a wonderful host who met us at the condo and personally went over the everything, making sure we had what we needed. The beach and pool were wonderful - while the beach directly out front is "iron shore", it makes for great snorkeling. 100 yards down the beach is a cove that has great sand and makes for perfect snorkeling and calm water -

Wonderful home base for our family trip

We had a fantastic stay at this condo at Grandview! It was impeccably clean, thoughtfully appointed, and had everything we needed—and more—for a perfect trip to Grand Cayman. The location was ideal, making it easy to walk to restaurants, downtown, and multiple beaches when we didn’t feel like driving. The property is beautiful, with a lovely beach for lounging and a swimming beach right next door, a great pool, and even a pickleball court, which we enjoyed in the evenings.Traveling with our two teenage sons (both 17), we found the condo offered just the right amount of space for everyone to be comfortable and truly relax.Rod, the host, was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations for dining and activities. It’s clear that he and his family take great care of the condo and genuinely want their guests to have an amazing experience. This place lives up to the description and the reviews. The condo is second floor and looks directly onto a sandy beach. It is clean and well stocked. Rod met us at check-in and was responsive to questions throughout the week. It is an excellent location with bars restaurants nearby and grocery store moderate walk away (12-15 mins). There is a reef about 100 feet out from the lagoon (right as you look out from the condo) that is excellent for snorkeling. Really enjoyed our stay.

Cayman paradise

Rod greeted us and showed us his 2nd floor condo on a beautiful quiet sandy beach. View from the balcony was spectacular with the tree with a swing and beautiful sunsets as the backdrop. Perfect location close to amenities. Condo was well stocked and comfortable. Rod welcomed us with a bottle of wine and snacks and was attentive to all our needs. One of the best places we have stayed. Driving on the left hand side in busy traffic and confusing round abouts can be a little scary. GPS helped a lot exploring the island.

This condo is on the southern edge of 7 Mile Beach. Restaurants and a modern Kirk's grocery store were nearby. The condo and its entire property were wonderful and fulfilled all advertisements. The owner, Rod, met us upon entry; he explained everything and even provided welcoming snacks and a bottle of wine. Rod responded immediately to all communications. There was only one issue - a malfunctioning door lock - but Rod arrived within minutes to replace it. He was genuinely concerned that we have a pleasant vacation, which we did. The condo itself was well designed, clean, with fully modern appliances and electronics. All kinds of beach toys, floats and sports equipment were provided. We definitely would return there for a future visit.

Great condo and host.

This is one of the nicest condos we have stayed at. Rod, the owner/host, runs everything wonderfully. When an owner has previously lived in a place for 8 years, it provides them a perspective that really benefits a future renter.Rod was very generous with supplies and we didn't lack anything. He provided snacks/drinks upon our arrival. Our flight was running late and he was on top of it, messaging me in the airport. Upon our arrival to the unit, he was waiting outside for us, showed us around and even gave us a ride to the supermarket.Communication during our stay was immediate and responsive.The condo itself was spotless, spacious,and very comfortable with a beautiful oceanfront view. It was on a small beach that I was able to snorkel from, away from the big crowds in other areas.I highly recommend this condo. Thank you Rod for a great stay.

Thanksgiving family vacation

Our family of 4 stayed 1 week at this property. The location was ideal for the beaches that we like to visit and the restaurants that we enjoy going to. Fantastic Stay

Rod’s condo has the best view of the complex. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything we need. There are a desk, a monitor, a keyboard and extension chord for working remotely. The condo is filly updated and very clean. Rod is a fantastic host. All our questions are answered quickly. There were a few days that the weather wasn’t cooperating, but we were able to stay in comfortably with three TVs in the condo. The beach and the pool area is never busy. It’s quiet community that people can relax. Highly recommended.

Everything about Rod’s place was great. It was amazingly clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. The location was amazing. PERFECTION IN PARADISE

My husband and I stayed a week at “The Grandest of Grandviews on 7 Mile Beach.” And our stay there exceeded our expectations. It is no exaggeration that it is the “grandest” in the condo complex. It is no exaggeration that it is just a few steps from the ocean. It is no exaggeration that the condo is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. It is no exaggeration that Rod is the most attentive, friendliest and most communicative of all hosts. It is no exaggeration that the second floor view is the best of the complex. It is no exaggeration that most of the time we were the only two on the beach and enjoying the pool. It’s no exaggeration that you won’t find better viewing for the amazing sunsets. Lovely condo on the beach

Great Location

The condo, complex and location were great. There was a protected cove a short walk away with wonderful snorkeling. The pool and hot tub were great too. The unit was the perfect size for 2 couples and the location of the unit overlooking the beach and pool couldn't be beat. Having snorkeling equipment in the unit was very helpful.

Incredible beachfront property

My family enjoyed an amazing visit to Cayman. We looked at many properties and chose this one based on the great reviews, exciting description with photos, and availability that met our needs. The unit did not disappoint and it was more beautiful in person. Truly a home away from home we had a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a pull-out queen bed sofa and a screened in lanai with incredible views of the pool, ocean & beachfront. Prepare to be delighted! One of the best parts was being pulled to sleep each night by the shoreline waves from the master bedroom balcony. Absolutely fabulous!
