The cabin itself was very cute and quaint, perfect for a romantic getaway for a couple. Having stayed in many cabins, I have a lot to compare this stay to.
Pros:
- cozy atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings made It
- The air conditioning worked well, and the hot tub area was very nice. The screened-in front porch was great, and the porch swing was fun. We enjoyed sitting and listening to the rain, looking out into the woods, and seeing all the foliage.
**Cons**
- We had trouble getting the light in the hot tub to work, which was a bit disappointing as the outside lights were a bit to bright to enjoy saying outside.
- Some of the blinds were missing a wand to adjust them, and the place needed some cleaning—there was a lot of dust on the lamp shades and ceiling fans. The windows were dirty and hard to see through.
- description of the cabin lacked details about what was provided. I reached out to the owner but did not receive a reply before arriving, although they were prompt with any other conversations. The cabin had a Keurig and a drip coffee maker with a reusable coffee filter. This would have been nice to have known.
- no hot pads or dishcloths, so we had to use towels instead. There were sponges. There were no measuring cups or spoons.
- There was no dining room table and chairs, with only one chair at the bar. There also was not enough dishware to last a couple a couple of days.
- it would be nice if there was some privacy from the other cabin ac
