The ultimate location for fly fishing and seclusion on the famous White River while still being minutes from Mountain Home and Cotter. This cozy log cabin features spectacular views of the White River on a two acre fenced in lot. Walk down our road to Rim Shoals public shoal and fishing access or cast your fishing poles in right off the private boat dock. Adjacent to the home is Rim Shoals Public boat launch. Conveniently launch your boat at the public access and dock at the cabin's private boat dock. We're sure you'll find this to be a relaxing, enjoyable and comfortable "home away from home" so that you can enjoy all that the Ozarks has to offer- fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking and more. Here you'll find something for everyone, whether you're enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the fog roll off the river, fishing right off the private boat dock, taking in the pristine river views, floating the White or the Buffalo Rivers, relaxing in the jetted tub in the master suite, or curling up by the fireplace with a glass of wine.
The main level features a fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room with a wood burning hearthstone fireplace and a large dining room table to gather around. Throughout the home you'll find custom touches including log furniture with unique finishes. There are plentiful outdoor spaces in which to enjoy and gather including a porch with picnic tables, patio with a gas grill, outdoor fire pit, and ample fenced in yard perfect for a game of touch football. The second level hosts a queen master suite with an ensuite bathroom and a reading nook off the bedroom. The main level features two bedrooms outfitted with queen beds and a full bath. The walkout basement is comprised of two twin over full bunk beds, futon, full bathroom and a in-unit washer and dryer.

First class. Beautiful property
The property was amazing. The location was fantastic to launch our boat literally one minute away. You are not able to fish from the dock though. Too much grass grown around. The only thing you’re going to catch is a snag. You definitely want to be fishing from a boat anyway. Watched Eagles fly by the property from the living room Unfortunately, the fishing was pretty light due to hurricane barrel and the rain that it brought But with all the amenities at the house, we still had a great time. Would highly recommend it for families, looking to enjoy the scenery and get some fishing in on the white river.

Great property with direct access to the river
We loved our stay here! The property is vast, affords plenty of privacy, and includes a private boat dock right on the bank of the White River. The cabin is clean, spacious, and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Our hosts were responsive, friendly, and informative about all the local amenities. They really went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. This is definitely a place we will return to!

Great fishing and wildlife!
The property was clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner, was this easy as a text or an email. The fishing was great. The deer were on the bank and the Eagle bald eagles were flying fantastic time John.

The house & location were perfect. We’re from Arkansas and throughly love the area and the home was very welcoming. Clean and ready for us! Minor improvements - Yard could have been mowed though. Pit on the porch needs to be replaced & and the balcony railing should be tended to before someone falls through it.

Beautiful area
Whole family stayed, cabin was very nice to accommodate some of the "not so roughing it" part of the family. Plenty of room, huge yard with fire ring and chairs, and private dock we tied up our boat. I'm the roughing type so just a tad overkill for me, but wouldn't have got my family to come with to stay in tents! Overall was very nice few days there, wish we could have stayed a whole week.

Amazing!
The cabin is gorgeous with a gorgeous view. It was probably one of the best stocked Vrbo we have ever rented. It was unseasonably cold during our trip and there was an issue with the heat. Hannah was very quick to coordinate someone to come and look at it. She was a beyond gracious hostess. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful Time in Mountain Home
My colleagues and I take an annual pilgrimage to the Cotter/Mountain Home area each year for fishing, golf and relaxation. We’ve tried several properties over the years and I must say that in terms of cleanliness, neatness, defined safe space (last year we ran into a bobcat of some sort at a different property), access to fishing and the overall feel of being in a cabin near the river this place took home the awards. Hannah was super easy to contact if needed and the property was immaculate upon our arrival. Not once were we interfered with by neighbors and the access to a boating dock was walking distance. Our stay was wonderful! Few trees in the back would likely open a BEAUTIFUL view of the river bend but I can also recognize the safety hazard that may open up. Thank you Hannah! We will be back!

Great family get-away
We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin. We had 7 adults and 3 kids and the space was just right for sleeping, eating and hanging out. The outdoor space was very nice. We enjoyed the campfire area and made s'mores. We brought Bocce Ball and Corn Hole and enjoyed being outside in the late afternoons when the sun wasn't so hot. We brought our Kayaks and canoe and drove about 15 minutes to the Cotter Trout Dock where we launched and floated down stream arriving at the private dock 1 1/2 hours later. It would have been nice if the house was not in the catch and release zone. We had to paddle up stream to fish if we wanted to keep the fish, which is one of the reasons we like coming to the White River area. We loved our time on the property. It was clean, well supplied and just right for our family get-away.

Beautiful property right on the White River!
This property is absolutely beautiful and immaculately kept. We would absolutely stay here again. It would have been perfect if we could have gotten into the water though. The current of the river is too fast for swimmers and fishing is allowed but is in a catch and release area. We had a wonderful week with our family!

Beautiful Log Cabin Home
This was a very beautiful home and on large property. We have stayed in many VRBO homes, and this is the best maintained home we have stayed in. Highly recommend! Plenty of room for kids to run, roll down hills, and lots of porch space for adults to sit back and visit. It is close to the Cotter Water Hole with natural spring water, which we enjoyed going to for a cool dip to swim. You will NOT be disappointed staying in this beautiful home.
