Lovely La Coperta Ricamata

We loved La Coperta Ricamata. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and we enjoyed the lovely breakfast. Our host was so helpful. The property is located a short walk from the centre of Siena. I would very happily stay here again.

Charming bed and breakfast, conveniently located on a peaceful side street within walking distance of both the train station and the historic center of Siena. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Lucia was a wonderful host, friendly and helpful! The breakfast every morning was great. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Siena, would stay there again!

When we check in they had an issue with Wi-Fi so we had NO SERVICE for our total stay. We were on the second floor with NO ELEVATOR. They were not in a good area and close to the major activities

Serene, convenient location

A quiet oasis to return to each night! A lovely hostess provides a nice breakfast each morning. Quiet, private, relaxing and very conveniently located within 10 minute walking to all major sites. Wonderful place to stay! Would highly recommend

Great location for walking around Siena. Ten minute walk to Piazza del Campo and fifteen minute walk to Duomo. Owner was very helpful and the suite was clean, a great size and provided a wonderful place to stay for a week. Would love to go back again.

Lovely B n B minutes from the city walls

This was the nicest place we stayed during our three weeks in Italy. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Easy walk to the city walls.

Siena stop

We started a smaller town drive through northern Italy after an event in Florence and stopped in Siena after a visit to San Gimignano during the morning. Like most, we parked our car just outside the city walls and we were happy to find a welcome from our hostess at the hotel door close by. Warmly she invited us into her beautiful place, of art, marble and stucco. The guest rooms were spacious and breakfast was set out in a shared area just outside the rooms. We were given advise on things to see for a quick visit and places for free parking overnight, which was very helpful. It was a wonderful, but brief accommodation yet quite enjoyable.

Nice, centrally located B&B.

The Ricamata was a very pleasant stay for our five days in Siena. It was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It is conveniently located half way between the old town/Bus Station and the train station. After a busy day of seeing Siena and the surrounding area we could go back to this peaceful abode and comfortably relax.

Serenity in Siena

La Coperta Ricamata is ideally situated just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Siena and the bus station. We spent a week there and enjoyed the traffic free walking streets as well as access to the beautiful Tuscany region with day trips to Florence, San Gimingnano, and the Cinque Terre. Luciana, the proprietor gave us a warm welcome and used her limited English to point out the main features of interest of this medieval town on a map to follow, and assisted us with arranging some early morning taxi services.

Beautiful B&B!

We had a wonderful room with French doors to a private balcony. We also had an ensuite bathroom. Luciana provided us with a map and gave us directions to places we wanted to see. The location is great - close to the train station and all the main attractions. It was very clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

A good choice - walking distance from train station, near a park. Some traffic noise. Nice check-in experience, and they gave us an early breakfast option (croissants) and access to the kitchen because we had an early train. Recommended.

Quintessentially Tuscan B&B - Quiet, cosy room in Siena

Stayed for a lovely two nights during a visit to Siena. The owner Luciana was helpful and friendly upon our arrival, and very clear in helping us settle into our room and the city - despite her apology for not speaking English particularly well, she did a great job! The room itself was emaculate and very cosy, with good A/C and internet, along with good en suite bathroom facilities. We were also lucky enough to be given a room with a balcony, which provided us with a lovely space to eat breakfast! Breakfast was quite a simple buffet, but did the job, and was nice to be able to help ourselves and eat in the privacy of our room, and there was plenty to choose from. Grazie, Luciana! :)

Lovely place to stay. Only a short walk from Il Campo and very near to the bus station. The room was clean and very nice. Luciana is an excellent host. Take her recommendations for restaurants and sights to visit. Luciana even came out to check as I was heading out into a thunderstorm that I had an umbrella!
