Hotel Bencoolen @ Bencoolen Street
Only cold/lukewarm water from the shower in our room, the pool area is really really small - don´t get confused by the pictures...
Breakfast is not really worth the trouble, coffee (from a Nescafe machine), boiled eggs, crab balls, noodles, toast with butter&jam and watermelon. The food was not hot or cold, it was room temperature warm - but that was just because there was 30 degrees warm outside :D No water nor juice was available, not even for purchase.
Rooms are ok but tiny, but so they tend to be in Singapore.
No power outlet in the toilet which was a bit tricky, you had to plug for example the hair drier into the power outlet close to the fridge and hotel room door, and no mirror is available there.
The location is perfect, just opposite Bencoolen MRT, and a 7-Eleven. Also within short walking distance to Little India, Raffles Hotel, Suntec City shopping mall, etc. Marina Bay & Gardens is also easily reachable by MRT. Would stay again, because of the location and friendly staff, but will have breakfast somewhere else next time :)
