Aesthetically stunning, great location

The Pan Pacific Orchard is a stunning hotel in a perfect location nestled behind Orchard Road. The hotel facilities are aesthetically beautiful, but some features are not practical. The rooms are super clean & modern, but could be improved with additional hanging space & a fridge. I personally prefer a more private pool area & did not feel comfortable using this facility with all the overlooking rooms. The concierge & reception team are very helpful & always have a smile on their faces.

Dirty room, bad odor coming from vents

Stayed here for our honeymoon because we saw how beautiful the photos looked online. But don’t be fooled, the pool area was not as nice nor was the lighting as great as it looked. First off, the room was not clean at all. There was little curly hairs from who knows where it came from all over the shower floors and the floor by the toilet area. This was a major red flag already and made us feel like the room was not properly cleaned well. Room was also very small and there were no vents for the toilet area. The vents in the room blew food smells from who knows where!! We would smell weird odors and random food smells the whole time. Overall, this was not worth the stay and we would not come back.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Pan Pacific Orchard. This hotel is even more beautiful in person.The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and well maintained. It was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and site seeing opportunities. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore!

We've been to Singapore 2nd weekend in January, Thu to Mon for a Conference held at Santosa Island, which is a 20 min ride from the hotel. Unfortunately it was raining throughout, so we've skipped the excursions we wanted to do in the city and stayed in the hotel. Due to the various terraces and space in the hotel - it was absolutely no problem! We had a club room so could also use the Club launch with its superb staff Edlyn, Sofia, Nadia, Blair and Jayel - at night Dino at the bar gave us an excellent treatment. The only downside is, that the room was relatively small, but we have the impression that this is something common in Singapore. We had a loft room (with a very high ceiling) with balcony, so the felt space was OK, but if you are sensitive to having space you might want to book a suite. Also, the offered space for keeping your clothes is a bit narrow, which is not understandable since there would have been plenty of space under the TV for more drawers as well as a cupboard / draws between TV and "kitchenette" - also we where missing a make-up-mirror which has probably been sacrificed to the overall superb design of the room. But the "Nespresso machine" in the room (which is very important for us, since we alway have our first coffee in the morning in bed) and the very friendly staff made up for that by far!
