Welcome to Retro Haven where retro styling meets modern convenience! This 2500+ sq. ft. home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood yet is close enough to everything you would want or need. The Country Club of Sioux Falls, Great Plains Zoo, Butterfly House & Aquarium, VA Hospital, and the Midco Aquatic Center are just a few sites that are within minutes of this home as well as plenty of shopping and dining.

The large open dining/living room combination shares a picture window that provides wonderful natural light. A coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker with black and green tea options, regular coffee as well as decaf, and cider and hot chocolate will satisfy everyone's tastes.

The living area has a 55 in TV, comfy sofa and loveseat and warm throws for those nights when you just want to get cozy. And it wouldn't be a complete retro space without a phonograph player and albums!

The kitchen with stone countertops is fully stocked with everything you could need from cooking pans to cake, muffin and bread pans as well as all the kitchen tools including a pizza cutter..... an absolute must. :) A crockpot and blender complete the myriad appliances available.
A retro chrome kitchen table with seating for four and a breakfast bar with additional seating for two completes the perfect kitchen setup.

Three bedrooms complete the main floor area. The first bedroom is furnished with a king bed with period chenille bedspread, 55 in TV, double closet and extra pillows and blanket. A nightstand with bedside lamp and clock makes it feel just like home.

The second bedroom has been created with the kids of the family in mind containing two twin beds with quilt bedding and the typical throw across the foot of the bed. Woodland baby wall hangings complete the setup.

Bedroom number three is a queen room with chenille bedding, nightstand and amenities and a double closet with extra bedding. Double south-facing windows let in beautiful filtered natural light.

The main floor bathroom with double sinks is perfect for allowing more than one person to get ready in the morning. A concierge basket and hair dryer and flat iron take care of all your styling needs.

The lower level is a complete space in itself! Two sofas and a 47 in TV make it a perfect area for the kids. The gas fireplace takes off the winter chill and adds to the comfortable ambiance.

The second king bedroom is in the lower level with chenille bedding, night stand and amenities, extra bedding and pillows and closet. A large egress south window allows in that filtered natural light.

The full bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower as well as all the amenities provided in the upstairs bath.

The kid/office room is definitely a special space for the little ones. A little reading nook with pillows and comfy throws allow a private space for the youngsters to get away and read the provided books. A small table and chairs and wall tic-tac-toe game make it the perfect space. Kid games, paper, markers, crayons, construction paper etc. are in the closet as well as games and cards for adults. A desk with desk lamp, office chair, pencils, pens and note paper complete the office area of this room.

The downstairs also contains a large, bright laundry room with all laundry supplies

A large half bath with an ironing board and iron finishes the downstairs area.

What makes this home the complete package is the fully fenced backyard with gas grill, patio furniture and fire pit for those quiet summer South Dakota evenings meant to be spent with family and friends.

Great place to stay!

Very comfortable, clean property. Well stocked and host is a great communicator. We spent a couple of days bike riding in Sioux Falls and it was a great location for base from. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Sioux Falls family time

This home was very nice and well supplied with all that we needed for a relaxing couple of days together. It is in a very good location as we had no problems whatsoever navigating to various restaurants and events and back to the house. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very helpful and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your property, the beds were very clean and comfortable which made it easy to sleep in the nice clean and quiet neighborhood!We would all consider staying at your place again!

Clean, safe and quiet neighborhood. Worked perfect for our family of 5. The finished basement was super nice with a kids area that was so handy in the morning...our two oldest could go downstairs and play allowing our youngest to keep sleeping undisturbed upstairs. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We were in Sioux Falls for a concert. The home is located in a nice neighborhood. The retro decor is cool. We enjoyed listening to the vinyl record player. We all had own room and bathroom. This place worked great for our group.

Cattle show

My family showed animals at the Sioux Falls fairgrounds. Location was wonderful! Great room sizes for everyone to have. They loved it. Communication was also on point with this home owner. They were able to eat dinner having a full kitchen instead of dining out. Which is cost saving for an already expensive weekend! My family highly recommends this property!

Great family getaway!

The place was great! Super clean and perfect for large families! Loved the small touches like the large tables and seating areas and things like multiple hooks in the bathrooms for towels. Communication with owners was great and they were very accommodating with some late checkout and early check in times.

Loved our stay at Retrohavensf. Located in a great neighborhood, this home is comfortable, spacious, attractive and very clean. Host thought of everything with this place. Great Place!

First of all, it's a beautiful neighborhood. Full of old-home charm but well taken care of. This property is surprisingly large - more than enough space for the five adults we had. Everything is nicely updated and comfortable. Plus, the home was very clean and ready to go! The outdoor space is a bit small, so don't expect tons of yard for the kids to run, but it was perfect for us. We played some board games outside before dark and had a blast. The extra amenities (some complimentary toiletries, games to play and kid/pet supplies) are very thoughtful even if they aren't useful for every guest. We also very much appreciated the light check-out process. No need to do laundry, vacuum and shampoo carpets here! Take out the trash, start the dishwasher (with any dishes) and you're out the door. This was particularly thoughtful with an earlier checkout (10:00 AM). Overall - it was a great place! We were all impressed!

Great spot for family

My siblings, their spouses and all our kids booked a long weekend at the Retro Haven and we had a great stay. There was plenty of room for all of us (9 total), and everything was updated, clean and comfortable. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, but close to all attractions. Would definitely book again!
