This B&B requires a door code to enter. It would help if Hotels.com included this information in the confirmation email as then one would know to call in advance and ask for it if it didn't arrive by a certain time. As it was, we arrived after an exhausting 10 hour drive, to find ourselves locked out and without a code. After three phone calls, the owner called us back and gave us the code. I was not impressed and said so. Then, whilst we were putting the cover on the duvet (you have to do this yourself; the sheets are clean but not ironed), he arrived to tell me off for being disrespectful and to tell me I should go to Scandic if I wanted good service. (I think this was an excellent suggestion.) He continued the punishment in the morning by not leaving us a breakfast bag. The breakfast bags contain two slices of cheese and two of ham and a yoghurt, so we didn't miss much. There is plenty of Polar bread and a coffee machine which only delivers hot chocolate and hot water for tea.
It's a hostel in a handy location. If we had received better service, we would return frequently. As it was, we will take his advice and go to Scandic in the future. It was a lose-lose situation.
