Nice spot in Sofia
A quiet hotel a few minutes in tram/metro of the center of Sofia. Rooms have the bare essentials, but the hotel staff is very helpful and the restaurant really rocks (plus is open 24/7)

Pros: Hip hotel with cool art all over. Nice clean room, nice helpful staff at the lobby. Food in the restaurant was excellent and fairly priced. Con: There is a cool rooftop area with murals and graffiti art and nice views, I went up to the roof and was rudely kicked out by staff. I mean why have art up there if you hotel guests can't even enjoy it?

Nice interesting hotel
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The location for us was perfect, a few minutes walk to the metro and the only two stops to the centre of the city. All the staff we very friendly and helpfully. The receptionist kindly ordered us a taxi for early in the morning. The food in the hotel was delicious and well priced.

Very friendly hotel
Very friendly hotel and excellent value. Breakfast surprisingly good and evening meals in the restaurant also good standard and available around the clock. A little too far from centre to walk but taxis cheap and plentiful. Surrounding area not attractive and not much to see but irrelevant to our stay as we ate in the restaurant or city centre. Recommend for excellent budget stay. Funky artistic rooms.

Comfortable hotel close to centre of Sofia
Very much enjoyed my stay at Art Hotel Simona and was glad to have chosen this hotel. It has modern bright rooms, all of them decorated in different artwork. The staff were helpful and enjoyed a nice breakfast. Also had some meals in the restaurant which were good value. The hotel is situated about a 12 or 15 min walk (or a tram ride) to the nearest metro station where it is 2 stops into the city centre.

Lovely hotel
The hotel was very clean and comfortable but the location was a bit disappointing as it was like being in the middle of the M25 and very noisy with traffic so we were not able to leave the window open overnight as it was very noisy so we had to use the air conditioning unit instead.

Simple and nice hotel, located in good area close to Konstantin Velichkov subway station, around 10 min walking area to this station which is 2-3 stations away from the city center and main sightseeing areas. Breakfast was basic and good, room was clean and comfortable.

Don't Be Put Off By First Impressions
Coming from Western Europe the area looks run down, and the hotel doesn't look great from the outside. But actually it's fine once inside, and I had no problem walking the streets alone at night as a single woman. The cheapest rooms are not as nicely decorated as the photos show - Pretty basic but fine for the price. Walls are thin though, and no bedside lamp! Breakfast is rather basic, and doesn't seem to get replenished so better go down early. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room, that was the only thing that was really lacking.
