Newly built cottage in a fantastic location right by the sea!

Modern three-bedroom cabin with great location in many ways. The cottage is located in the tiny village of Spjutvik 24 kilometers from Sortland. This is an idyllic and quiet place, yet it is relatively short distance to the small town of Sortland where you will find most of the amenities a city should have. In the summer, there is sun throughout the day until about 2300. In winter, there is little light pollution that provides good opportunities to see the northern lights if conditions are right for it. The sea is only 20 meters from the terrace and for those who wish it is fine fishing with rod. On the terrace there is also a nice hot tub available all year round. The lodge is a perfect base for activities such as whale watching on the Andenes, dog sledding in winter on the Vik, a visit to the Kvalsaukan with Saami Siida or a day trip to Lofoten if you wish. Nyksund in Øksnes, the area around Ringstad in Bø and the exterior of Andøy are also great experiences when visiting Vesterålen.

Hikers paradise! Vesterålen has 158 marked and signposted hiking trails in the mountains and fields throughout the district. The routes are easily accessible and regardless of the mountain top you have a view of beautiful mountain ranges, fjords and the sea as far as the eye can see. The difficulty ranges from easy to hard route in beautiful and varied terrain.

The cabin is a Saltdalshut with two bedrooms on the main floor and one in the loft. All bedrooms are equipped with new modern beds. Bathroom has shower and washing machine as well as toilet. In the living room and kitchen area there are full ceiling height and large window areas. This gives a wonderful airy feeling while the view becomes very clear.
You'll find features such as 1 hot tub at this cabin. Enjoy your stay with amenities like free WiFi and a kitchen in the cabin.

Perfect spot for a family in the peaceful fjords
We had an amazing time in this cozy house. The owners were extremely friendly and own the cottage next door. We enjoyed our stay with wonderful meals and the beds were very comfortable. They even had dark out blinds which was perfect for the midnight sun. Thanks again!

Best lodgings and host we’ve had.
Beautifully located next to Sigerfjord with awesome views. Lodgings were new, up to date, and well cared for. Ole has it furnished with what is needed for a comfortable stay. He is pleasant and a clear and responsive commutator. We truly didn’t want to leave, especially the hot tub!

Magnifique !!!
Tout est magnifique ! Cette maison est aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, elle est fonctionnelle et très propre. On s’y sent vraiment bien. Elle est idéalement située et nous offre une vue imprenable dont on ne se lasse pas, du levé aux supers couchés de soleil. Nous avons très apprécié le spa à l’extérieur, un vrai moment de détente dans un cadre idyllique. Nous avons eu la chance également de voir un petit lapin blanc ainsi que des loutres qui nageaient près du bord. Nous soulignons également la disponibilité de notre hôte, Ole, qui est très réactif et qui nous a bien conseillé. Que du Bonheur !

Modern, nice little hut with a view from an extraordinary host
We enjoyed our stay a lot. Ole is an extraordinary, kind and supportive host. When the remote control of our Drone broke down he organised a replacement within less than one hour, i m travelling a lot - Ole clearly stands out. The House was spotless and has everything you need and even more. Located in a quiet area with almost Zero Traffic, the view is nice and Sortland with all Type of shops is just a convinient 30 min drive close. Note that the fireplace on the Pics is Not for use, we spent our evenings in the hot tub watching the northern Lights or the Stars - Not so bad either. For transparency the description of the House may benefit from a remark that the oven is excluded from the rental. Would we come back? Without any doubt yes.

Das Haus strahlt eine warme und gemütliche Atmosphäre aus. Sie fängt die echte abgelegene Atmosphäre ein und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht und Umgebung. Genau das Richtige für Menschen, die Ruhe lieben und der Natur ganz nah sein wollen. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig, das Interieur liebevoll gestaltet. Wonderfull clean house next to the Fjord in a nice and quite area. Very easy to communicate with the friendly owner. Fully equiped with the needed items. From my understanding it's a hot tub and not a whirl pool If rain comes down true the water pipes from the roof, the noice is also hereable inside the bedroom because the pipe holders are missing pipe insulation material. The fireplace can't get used, but no problem, it isn't part from the house expose.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus
Das Ferienhaus war absolut perfekt. Super sauber, so als wären wir die ersten Gäste gewesen. Die Lage am Moysalen Nationalpark ist ideal für Wanderungen mit phantastischer Aussicht auf die schneebedeckten Berge und Fjorde. Am Sigerfjord ist es absolut ruhig. Wir haben von der Terasse aus Weißbauchdelphine und Robben gesehen. Der Sonnenuntergang vom Hot Tube aus war unglaublig schön. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses Ferienhaus zurückkehren. Ole war ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Es war einfach alles perfekt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Urlaubszeit.

Perfect House, perfect Location, perfect Host
Wir hatten 4 wunderschöne Tage im Ferienhaus, die Lage ist sehr schön mit tollem Ausblick, das Haus und die Einrichtung sind top modern, sehr sauber, sehr gepflegt, einfach Perfekt. Ein Highlight der Hot-Tube und das bei jedem Wetter ein Genuss! Ole ist ein Super Gastgeber hat uns Wandertipps gegeben und Start Hilfe organisiert als das Auto nicht mehr anspringen wollte. Hätte nicht besser sein können.

Gemütliches Haus mit super Aussicht auf Fjord und Berge
Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern (zwei im Erdgeschoss und eins oben unter dem Dach) mit moderner Einrichtung und fantastischen Ausblick. Waschmaschine und eine Küche mit sehr guter Ausstattung und sogar Gewürzen vorhanden. Toller Wohnbereich. Auf der Terrasse ein Hotpot, den wir gerne am Abend benutzten um die Nordlichter zu beobachten. Falls diese nicht leuchten gibt es auch einen grossen TV mit Netflix. Der Vermieter ist immer schnell erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und entspannt. Tus takk Ole! Im Umkreis gibt es gute Wandertouren sogar im Winter, eine Skipiste in Sortland und viele Elche am Rand der Strassen. Absolute Empfehlung

Wunderschönes, gemütliches Ferienhaus...
...mit allem was das Herz begehrt! 😁 Mein Partner und ich waren circa eine Woche in dem großartigen Ferienhaus und hatten eine tolle Zeit dort. Das Haus ist modern und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das besondere Highlight ist der Hottub auf der Terrasse von welchem aus wir sogar Nordlichter über uns bewundern konnten. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alle Geräte sind neu und leistungsstark - da hat das Kochen Spaß gemacht. Die Umgebung ist sehenswert und gut geeignet zum Wandern. Wir waren außerdem positiv überrascht von dem netten Kontakt mit dem sehr freundlichen Vermieter. Sowohl der schriftliche als auch der persönliche Kontakt waren sehr angenehm. Als mein Partner berichtete, dass er gerne angeln würde, kam der Vermieter am nächsten Tag mit Angelequipment zu uns! Alles in allem können wir das Ferienhaus von Ole nur weiterempfehlen und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder!

Stunning chalet, beautiful location, perfect holiday!
Wow! Ole and his family have created something really special here. Not just a home from home (because they really do make you feel at home); they've invested their passions into this property and you can really feel it in every single detail. The stunning views, the well equipped kitchen, the perfectly heated hot tub, the additional woollen blankets, the smart TV with multiple streaming services, the list is endless. Ole is a very generous host which is both heart-warming and inviting. He is happy to answer any queries and from the initial to the final contact, you feel well cared for as a guest. The chalet is spotlessly clean. We've stayed in many holiday homes and this was by far the cleanest. Originally we'd planned to go to Lofoten but we fell in love with the chalet when we saw it on this website and opted for Vesterålen. We were not disappointed. Vesterålen has much to offer and is less touristy than Lofoten. So if you’re looking for a magical getaway with stunning views, friendly, diligent hosts and the chance of watching the aurora borealis from your hot tub, then I would highly recommend Ole's chalet.

Ein tolles Haus in absolut ruhiger Lage und schöner Aussicht
Ein modernes Haus mit allem, was zu einem erholsamen Urlaub gehört, auf dem neuesten technischen Stand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und vor allem für Ruhesuchende ideal. Eine herrliche Veranda mit gemütlichen Korbmöbeln nutzt man zum "Seele baumeln lassen". Sehr gute Betten und ein schönes Bad, sowie die moderne Küche runden alles ab. Great house in great location
Very comfortable modern house, warm and cosy, everything at a high standard, very well equipped kitchen with all electronic appliances, beautiful location right on the water with great views over the fjord. Confort 5 étoiles au calme avec belle vue
Maison récente très confortable, meublée avec goût et avec toute la technologie de pointe. Idéalement située au bord du fjord au calme mais proche de la ville de Sortland. Le bain nordique au bord de l eau chauffé à 40 degrés est un régal. Merci à Olé pour ses conseils et l attention qu il porte au bien-être de ses hôtes.

Wir hatten 9 wunderbaren Tage in Ole's Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist in einem kleinen Dorf direkt am Fjord gelegen. Somit herrscht absolute Ruhe. Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und alles super sauber. In der Küchen sind Gewürze und Öle vorhanden, sowie alle gängigen Kochutensilien. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Ein Highlight ist der Hotpool (40°C) auf der Terrasse aus dem wir die Polarlichter beobachten konnten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Perfektes Haus
Wir haben die 10 Tage im traumhaft gelegenen Haus sehr genossen. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig, technisch auf dem neuesten Stand und trotzdem gemütlich. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zu Detail eingerichtet und vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist äußerst hilfsbereit und kann (sofern gewünscht) hervorragende Tagestouren- und Restauranttips geben. Wir hoffen bald wieder kommen zu können!
