NOTE :- Need more space. Extra 5 bedrooms available in cottage # 2 next door at additional cost. This Cottage has the largest private indoor pool for rent in Canada. Activities Activities Activities!!! OVER 25 ONSITE ACTIVITIES.There is so much to do for all ages at this cottage. It's like your own private resort... Fantastic no matter what mother nature throws your way. It's the perfect cottage to ensure the weather is not an issue. Enjoyment,relaxation and entertainment for all ages.. Parents will never hear there kids say they are bored.The kids have so much to do that the adults can relax and have a holiday without constantly trying to keep everyone entertained. The main feature of this cottage is the 2000 sq ft attached pool building with a 40 ft Indoor pool and a 10 person hot tub.The warmth (30 C water temp)of this year round facility will keep you bug free in the warmer months and leave you forgetting about the Caribbean in the colder months.Go jogging indoors as 25 laps of the pool is one kilometre. Three acres of landscaped grounds plus 2 acres at next door cottage.Two Weber BBQ s(one with rotisserie),full size sand filled regulation beach volleyball court. 28 ft wooden boat play structure, fire pit, sandbox, pickle ball, basketball and ball hockey on the 5000 sq. ft asphalt sealed driveway. A toboggan hill (toboggans supplied). Inside there is WiFi access for your laptops and devices, 8 x 4 pool table, darts, board games, satellite TV (1 x 70",1 x 60', 3 x 42' and a selection of movies) plus two Xbox's (1 Kinect and a selection of games). This is an ideal vacation for large family gatherings, groups, several families or as a corporate retreat.

Private Retreat within easy commute of Ottawa and Montreal and a great base to explore Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec and Upstate New York. Lake Placid in the middle of the Adirondack Mountains is within two hours as is Mont Tremblant in Quebec. The St Lawrence river is 10 minutes away with all its water related recreational activities and there is a free area to launch your boat in Cornwall which is 12 minutes away.

Family Reunion
Lots of sleeping options for the group. Small kitchen but great kitchen table as well as picnic tables outside for eating and playing games. Close to neighbors so the noise restrictions are tightly enforced. This can be a disappointment with a larger group that likes to sit outside past 11pm as voices carry over to the neighboring properties initiating some complaints. Bringing everything inside at night did eleviate the problem but would not have been our preference. Splashing rules in the pool need to be tightly enforced as well due to the face that it is an indoor pool with carpeting around the parameter. Excessive jumping in and out of the pool creates a lot of water build up outside the pool which can then damage the building. This is fine for those who like to just lounge in the pool, but this is far from an ideal setup for a group of people that have kids that want to jump in and out of the pool etc. Other than the noise and pool restrictions on the property it was a decent stay.

Relaxing weekend bachelor party
Frank was the perfect host to our group! We were celebrating one of the members of our group getting married and this location was the perfect place for the 15 of us to unwind and join in some festivities together. Most of our time was spent around the indoor pool and hot tub which was great given the cool November weather. There was ample space for everyone to be together or enjoy some quiet time if they wished. The three acres of land was appreciated for some sports outside and bbq dinners before retreating back to the pool. The amenities here were above and beyond what you’d find in a normal cottage rental. Would love to book this location again the next time we are looking for a large group space!

Frank was great host, and the place was amazing. it has the largest indoor pool I have been to. The kitchen was equipped very well, 2 ovens and everything you need. It has 2 BBQs outdoor, they were great . I will definitely go there again

Great Place Year Round
We stayed for two nights for a weekend long bachelor party. The place was very clean and comfortably slept 21 full grown guys. The property is huge, and when the weather didn't cooperate it didn't matter because the house itself is so big, and of course the pool. The big screen tv in the pool room helped as well. Frank was a great host and would always respond within the hour to any question we had in the run up to the visit. The house had everything we need, towels for everyone, bedding dishes glasses, and three, maybe four, very large refrigerators. Two BBQ's and 2 ovens which were all put to very good use. Everyone was very impressed and I think a lot will be looking for a reason to book the house in the future. Also the beer store is only a 12 -15 minute drive away for when you run out of beer. Great place.

Clean, spacious and well taken care of Cottage - Loved it
We had a family get together in Aug and booked this cottage for 3 nights. It is about 5 hours drive from Toronto (Much closer to Ottawa and Montreal - within 2 hours drive from both locations) but I must say that it was worth driving all the way for. It is located very close to Hwy 401 but far enough to make it feel like a cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. It has large and well-taken care off, front and backyard in addition to a long driveway (enough to park 10 cars). It has a great beach volleyball area (didn't end up using it) plus a play area for younger kids (they loved the model ship in the play area). The cottage is designed to accommodate 20 -30 people with enough space to have all sit at the dinner table and enjoy a family meal. Rooms are very clean and there is more than enough storage and fridge space (3 fridges), icemaker, coffee maker etc. In terms of entertainment, this cottage came with few 50 inch plus TV's and game consoles etc. plus a pool table, tennis table and a lot of toys for kids to keep them entertained. I can safely say that this is the best-kept and managed cottage we have rented in the last 5-7 years. Now for the best part, as mentioned in the advertisement, it has a large pool with a hot tub and tons of life jackets. We spent more than half our awake time in the pool (other half was eating enough to reenergize for next pool trip) Frank (owner) is a super nice guy and very responsive. He visited every day to check the pool water to make sure it was safe for us to swim. Thanks, Frank. When I initially saw the listing, I was a little scared to make the reservation as it looked like too good to be true but we are glad that we went ahead. One of the best family gathering we had in the last few years and the reason is the way this cottage kept us all together at one place rather than different groups running in different directions to keep them entertained. The only negative comment which I got from few in the group was that there are more than enough bunk beds to accommodate all but few more rooms will be a nice addition to this wonderful cottage.

Great place for a reunion
We absolutely loved our weekend at Frank's cottage. There was over 40 of us and we had more than enough space. Huge kitchen table was amazing for feeding all the kids at once and ample fridge space for everyone's food and drinks. Pool, hot tub and volleyball court provided hours of entertainment for the kids and adults. Bunks are very sturdy and all have nice mattresses so they are comfortable for adults too. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back! Frank was an excellent host, greeting us when we arrived and showing us how everything worked and coming back subsequent days to make sure pool was nice and clean. Thanks Frank Dominique

Amenities that rival or exceed hotels.
If you were looking to stay at a high end spa resort, well you are not going to appreciate the dated interior. But if you are getting flashbacks to the cottages that your family vacationed at long ago, you are going to get nostalgic. Nonetheless, you will find yourself busy enjoying the vast amenities of the property than putting too much of a worry about the lack of chicness in furniture, washrooms or kitchen cabinets. However to be have a balanced review, I would like to point out some things that could need some attention. The towels are plentiful, but most had a feel of a scrub sponge, I guess they have had much use over their lives and have felt the baking of the sun once too often now. And for a possible future renovation, a larger kitchen sink would be plenty helpful. When you have 4 or 5 families' worth of dishes to sort thru, a large farm sink would do the trick. And that's about it. Clear consensus, we had 5 families join in with various numbers of young children and everyone from the parents to children loved the property! The indoor pool and hot tub was stupendous, the outdoor pirate ship and sand area was marvelously entertaining and that custom dining table - no words can describe having the ability to sit down all together as a family for each meal. Less not forget the huge open yard to play baseball or soccer, a driveway to which the kids rode their bikes endlessly around, a fire pit for those must have smores, and we didn't even get around to touching the pool table or turning on the video gaming systems. The two stoves, 3 fridges, ice maker, washer and dryer, two BBQs, bug zappers, industrial size garbage bin and strong WiFi were a godsend for our sizeable group. We definitely did not feel unsettled about any lack of amenities, supplies or beds, plenty of space for the kids to rest or for parents to find a momentary quiet spot. The owner Frank was a wonderful host, giving us the run down when we got there, coming back to fix us out of a jam and answering all of countless questions. He was great to correspond with beforehand and was quick to respond. Yes modern updates would make this property even more glamorous, but it did not detract from the amazing time we spent there. At the end of the stay our 7 year old said it was the best days of his life. And since we do all this for the kids so they can experience and bond together as they grow, if that's the reaction I'm getting, well I think we made a great choice for a cottage.

Summer '16
My friends and I stayed at Frank's home for 3 days and 2 nights. We had a large group of 28 people, and we did not have any problem with the sleeping areas. It was not hard to find the home, and it was close enough to the highway. We truly enjoyed the home especially the large indoor pool, the volleyball area, and the large dining area. The home felt very welcoming and cozy. One of our friends have said that she felt at home as soon as she saw the sandy volleyball court. None of us were bored as there were so many activities that we could do in one place. Also, Frank is very courteous and responds fast on e-mails. I really appreciate his effort for making our stay at his home very enjoyable and fun. We are looking forward to our next years stay at Frank's home again.

Amazing property with plenty of space and activities.
Frank is a great guy who is genuine and laid-back. He allowed us to check in early and stay later than planned and helped us out with any thing to do with the house. It was a pleasure to have met him and stayed at his retreat. Definitely a great place for any occasion.

A convinient stay with activities at your fingertips!
Frank, it was a pleasure dealing with you! Your quick email replies and your very accommodating nature were quite nice. The cottage had plenty of "built-in" activities and our 14 kids aged 2 to 13 were in awe. The skating rink, the outdoor ship and the tubing were so fun. The indoor pool was the cherry on the Sunday. Our kids never complained! Instructions for everything were clearly put. It is definitively a go to place in the near future.

Second time and it was just as amazing as the first!
This place is truly amazing. It was the second time our friends have stayed here and it has always been a hit. Except for a few grocery runs we never had to leave the house. The kitchen is completely stocked, the pool was loved by everyone and we managed to go tobogganing and play a brief ice hockey game before the freezing weather got the best of us. Would highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to accommodate your large group.

The cottage had everything we needed. Came fully stocked with all the knickknacks which saves a ton of packing space. Frank was great, he responded within an hour of all our emails and had everything setup for our group of 18. Loads of space and the hockey rink and pool were great for activities.

It was great!!
We spent Christmas here and loved every minute of it. The kids loved going in the pool and we even got a little snow so they were able to Tobagon. The house is bug enough space for everything, it is equipped with everything you would need. The owner is fantastic we would rent here again in a heart beat.
