Beautifully Updated, Pet Friendly, Family Beach House in Snug Harbor!

Walking into this beautiful house you will immediately feel like you are at the beach, and you are! Just down the street from the renowned Matunuck Oyster Bar and less than a mile to the beautiful East Matunuck Beach, you will find this light and airy rental for the whole family!

Upstairs is the cooks kitchen that opens up to the dining room and family room. The dining room table extends to fit 10+ people for those big family meals. You will find a large comfy couch in the living room that opens up to fit an extra overnight guest. You will also find 3 bedrooms upstairs as well as 2 full baths. Downstairs is the 'kids wing'. There are 2 sets of bunk beds as well as a couch that opens up. The large screened in porch has plenty of comfy furniture as well as an electric fireplace and tv for those beautiful nights when you want to hang at home.

In the backyard there is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and tiki torches, a patio with outdoor dining furniture and seating furniture with cafe lights to create a beautiful ambiance under the stars. The shed was turned into a 'beach bar' and there is a large flat lawn perfect for a wiffle ball game, slip and slide or any other fun activities you can think of. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off when you get back from a day at the beach. We just finished the rest of the downstairs and added a full bath to make it a mud/laundry/bathroom. Come see what the best part of Rhode Island has to offer and make those memories that you will never forget!

Perfect location- central to everything to do in Rhode Island.
Updated, well maintained home with numerous thoughtful amenities. Central location for everything to do in Rhode Island! Block Island day trip? Ferry 10min away., Newport for a day. ? 30 minutes away. East Matunuck beach 3 minutes away! Parking lot full there? At least 6 other beaches within 10 minutes! Best restaraunt in RI (Matunuck Oyster Bar) 3 minutes away. Host (Alison) VERY responsive. An absolutely perfect place for a Rhode Island vacation!

Matunuck House
This was a lovely, modern, well outfitted house. The yard was beautiful and pet friendly with a fire pit and a comfortable patio set up plus a screened in porch that we used constantly. The interior was great and the bathrooms were excellent. Bonus basement space for our teenager met his needs and his favorite thing was the outdoor shower. Close to beach and put in locations for our paddle board, great tennis courts within blocks and the beach and the restaurants and I need to stop. We would love to come back when able.

Spacious Beach House, perfect for multiple families!
Our group of 6 adults and 3 children enjoyed a fabulous week at the beach! The house was in a quiet neighborhood that was only a bike ride away from our favorite RI beach, East Matunuck. The kids really had fun in their own space on the lower level and the adults enjoyed many heated card games at the large dining room table. After a day at the beach, there were a total of 4 showers we could use and plenty of hot water! The kitchen had everything you would ever need to cook, which we really appreciated. The host Alison was very easy to communicate with and it was clear she wanted us to have a good stay!

Great vacation getaway
This house offers plenty of everything. The East Matunuck beach was right down the street but the Narragansett beaches are also within 15 minutes. Matunuck Oyster Bar is a must do but need to reserve 2-3 weeks in advance. The outdoor dining and kitchen table allowed for large family meals and we had a great time. Would recommend to others and consider a return trip.
